Anhin mo heater sa pilipinas?

Ah eh ganito kasi yun kuya...

May mga beses kasi na madalas kami bumiyahe papunta sa mga lugar na tulad ng baguio o tagaytay. Lam nyo naman siguro kung ano ang klima dun, dibaa...

Dati kasi tuwing uuwi kami mula dun bago mag sunrise eh sobrang lamig ng oto, yung tipong lahat ng bintana maski windshield eh puno ng singaw at basang basa ng dahil sa sobrang lamig. Pag walang heater yung a/c eh mahirap siya tanggalin sa windshield kaya tuwing bababa kami mula baguio o tagaytay nang ganung oras, pag ganun eh sobrang hirap makakita dahil yun nga, di basta basta mawawala yung moisture. Punasan man yan eh babalik padin yan dahil sa lamig. Kahit kung may defogger pa yung a/c sa harap pero wala namang heater, di parin agad mawawala yung moist.

Isa pa. Pag tuwing malakas ang ulan at sobrang lamig ng a/c sa loob ng oto, at least pwede sya i-adjust para di ka na gaano maginhawan or pag tuwing aalis ka at gagamitin yung car tapos may singaw sa windshield. mawawala yun nang di matagal pag binuksan mo heater. At least di na magiging hassle pag ganun.

Yan, sana hindi ko na ulitin ulet kasi nilahad ko na yung mga dahilan kung bakit mas okay sana pag may heater yung a/c ng fortuner kung wala man nito sa atin. Nakalimutan ko lang banggitin kanina na heater ng a/c yung tinutukoy ko pero siguro naman common sense na iyon kahit na hindi ko nasabi na heater nga ng a/c ang tinutukoy ko... xD

The only time I ever wanted a heater in my car was when I was on the way to Pulag and the ambient temperature was 8 degrees even at the base camp.

It's really something I would prefer to live without instead of having an increase in SRP for a useless feature.

Di naman siya completely useless dito kasi may mga lugar parin na malalamig at pag rainy, at least adjustable siya in case na maginhawan. Nakakatulong din siya sa defogging ng windshield.

mga sirs, hingi naman ako opinionion ng fortuner 2.4 a/t 4x2 v. Is the engine good enough, 150 hp to be exact for thrusting the car? Any inputs about the performance will greatly be appreciated. Thankyou 🙂

More than enough paps, 2.4G M/T user here. Di ko ginagamit power mode pa, kasi para mahirap i-control.

I may not a car expert (just a wannabe) but I'm driving one 60 kms everyday for 3 months now (I mean of course during weekdays only). Minor issues aside, wala po ako problema sa performance nya, engine power, shifting, etc. all well! Except the Eco-mode feature, I don't use it kasi parang naaa-under power ung makina so Normal driving lang ako. If you want an extra boost switch to Power mode. By the way, we've been to Baguio along Kennon rd this weekend with 6 pax including driver & each with trekking bag. Lakas ng hatak it's like you don't feel much the extra weight!

As with any vehicle, driver is to adjust to whatever they drive. drive slow or early braking or simply keeping distance.


Yesterday I drove a rental car an almera 1.5 because my colleague wants me to drive fast. the brakes are lousy because its pads are nearing replacement. no bite on the first 2 inches.

I drive an Elantra and of course the brakes are excellent with wider tires and new brake pads.

Thank you for bringing up about the brakes! I don't know kung mabigat lang paa ko or they designed it that way. Most of the time kasi during moderate traffic (moving then full stop) napapapreno ng bigla parang napaka-sensitive minor press kapit kagad tuloy minsan nasusubsob si wifey. So kelangan talaga extra careful & dapat ung anticipation mo laging handa. It isn't always a smooth stop for me! How about you mga Sirs, please share your experiences para ma-enlighten naman ako hehe

The Fortuner's brakes feel like any other modern Toyota - strong bite at the start then goes linear until you floor it. Same response with my Altis, and with my friend's Hilux, and even the Vios.

In comparison, my Mazda has more linear braking where you need to depress the pedal a bit more to get the same bite as in a Toyota, even if the Mazda has new pads.

Alam ng Toyota na kahit kariton basta may badge na Toyota may bibili pa rin hahaha... kahit ako, di ko gets kung bakit nag cut corners sila sa headunit, pero sino pa ba nanood sa dvd now a days?
