If people have a problem with the Fortuner's pricing, they're free to buy something else.

There's the Montero and Everest, freely available. Nothing makes a statement against Toyota's pricing as a boycott of their products.

Actually it was confirmed to me by my source at Toyota Philippines, the 2.8L 1GD-FTV engine is reserved only for the top of the line 4x4 V variant. The rest of the variants including the 4x2 V variants gets the 2.4L 2GD-FTV engine

Its different when you factor that in. That is buying because of the brand. And we all know Toyota is lord over car manufacturers not only here. No problem with that.

But buying because of the car is usually more of stripping down the product. Car enthusiast are happy not because they are paying high PMS cost but because they are using/experiencing the best car.

Now what do you think of 2016 Fortuner as a car compared to its rivals?

eh kung ganun, talo. wala kwenta pala yung fort v sa 1.75m

4x2 2.4V 200k difference with outgoing fort 4x2 2.5V. Pwede.. With new engine and 6 speed tranny.

I doubt that the g would have a rear camera. The Hilux g also has a head unit and it doesnt have a rear cam, actually it doesnt have rear sensors either. Id wager the v has though.
