a friend lost his non-toyota side mirror (yung salamin lang!) to sikwateers.
he inquired from the casa. casa said they sell assemblies only in pairs. 10K!
my friend went to the mirror store and asked the proprietor to cut him an oval-ish one....

Mga sir ask ko lang po sa mga naka experienced ng issues ng 2016 fort kung naka experienced rin po ba kayo ng unintentional sudden acceleration? 4x2 VE conduction sticker yung amin. Naexperienced kasi ng erpat ko na nagwild bigla yung fort. Nasa traffic situation sila. From full stop neutral, hand break and in eco mode. Nung nilipat na sa drive mode at binaba handbreak, ang normal dapat dahan dahan aabante habang unti unti nirerelease ang foot break. Ang nagyari bigla nalang daw umingay yung makina tunog na parang nakatodo tapak sa gas mabuti nalang at nag over power parin ang break, napatodo tapak sa break c erpat pero umandar parin daw yung fortuner ng mga 1meter kaya gumuhit ang gulong sa kalsada. Mabuti nalang daw at malayo distansya nila sa kaharap nilang bus. Tapos nung pauwi na sila nasa nlex na sila naobserved na nila na tuloy tuloy ang swing ng rpm gauge (taas baba-taas baba) nakaobserved narin na kumakabig pa left at pa right ang manibela. Nakakatakot daw talaga naging experienced nila. Ngayon ayaw na gamitin ng erpat ko yung bagong bili nyang fort at nagkatrauma na sa nangyari. Ngayon pa lang madadala sa casa yung unit namin at naghanap pa erpat ko ng ibang mag ddrive.

Hi po. Update ko lang po kayo, nadala na po sa casa yung unit namin kanina. Hope makita nila yung problem. Btw, just to clarify po sa iba, sa makati po nangyari yung incident ng umaga. Then umuwi po sila mga hapon dun po yung pauwi na po ng nlex nangyari. Kanina po sabi ng nagdrive kanina na nagdala sa casa wala naman daw syang naramdaman na kakaiba. Sana lang madetect nila yung problem. Kung may dash cam lang sana kami. Kaya wala po kami evidence. Im not here para siraan ang toyota. Hindi po kami connected sa ibang brand ng sasakyan. Im just sharing our experienced baka po meron din po sa inyo makaexperience ng ganon. Pero sana naman po wala na at wag nang may maulit pa at di biro yung nangyari. Just post the service report here and your credibility will be kinda established. Also, I may call the Toyota dealership to validate your claim if its for real. his dad might have a heavy foot

on power mode with a heavy foot between 2-3k rpm if you lift off to hit the brakes pedals it will still continue to accelerate because of the turbo pressure

*130+kph oscillation begins it will go up and down and eventually sideways depending on what upsets the oscillation, its a cheap PPV SUV its not really designed to go that fast like a RR sport or cayanne

FYI lang since brand new yan, you can call toyota anytime kung nasiraan ka sa daan or nagkaproblema. pupuntahan nila yang sasakyan mo kahit saan. pero yang buy back? good luck!

Toyota for sure won't buy back, refund or even replace yours wth a new unit. Happened to my dad and driver 2 years ago when his brand new fort with only 700kms had smoke covering the whole car while on edsa. They stopped at the Petron station and got out. They thought the car was burning but puro smoke Lang pala. Nawala Yung smoke after a while. Toyota engineers couldn't explain and find a reason it happened. My dad asked for a new unit but Toyota executives didn't agree. We didn't use the car for a few months muna. Good thing it didn't happen anymore and the car is a daily driver until now.
Good luck on your case. Hope they find the culprit.

I just have a question. I read somewhere that in order for your diesel engine to bring out its maximum performance you should use the correct type of diesel fuel. It also explains that it doesnt necessarily mean that if you gas a premium diesel fuel its good for your engine. It has to be compatible. What do you guys think of this? How to determine what type of diesel to use? for example 2016 fortuner 4x2 G AT. Is it best to use fuel save from shell or their nitro diesel? or diesel max or turbo diesel from petron?
