Ah eh ganito kasi yun kuya...

May mga beses kasi na madalas kami bumiyahe papunta sa mga lugar na tulad ng baguio o tagaytay. Lam nyo naman siguro kung ano ang klima dun, dibaa...

Dati kasi tuwing uuwi kami mula dun bago mag sunrise eh sobrang lamig ng oto, yung tipong lahat ng bintana maski windshield eh puno ng singaw at basang basa ng dahil sa sobrang lamig. Pag walang heater yung a/c eh mahirap siya tanggalin sa windshield kaya tuwing bababa kami mula baguio o tagaytay nang ganung oras, pag ganun eh sobrang hirap makakita dahil yun nga, di basta basta mawawala yung moisture. Punasan man yan eh babalik padin yan dahil sa lamig. Kahit kung may defogger pa yung a/c sa harap pero wala namang heater, di parin agad mawawala yung moist.

Isa pa. Pag tuwing malakas ang ulan at sobrang lamig ng a/c sa loob ng oto, at least pwede sya i-adjust para di ka na gaano maginhawan or pag tuwing aalis ka at gagamitin yung car tapos may singaw sa windshield. mawawala yun nang di matagal pag binuksan mo heater. At least di na magiging hassle pag ganun.

Yan, sana hindi ko na ulitin ulet kasi nilahad ko na yung mga dahilan kung bakit mas okay sana pag may heater yung a/c ng fortuner kung wala man nito sa atin. Nakalimutan ko lang banggitin kanina na heater ng a/c yung tinutukoy ko pero siguro naman common sense na iyon kahit na hindi ko nasabi na heater nga ng a/c ang tinutukoy ko... xD

Sorry but I find this funny. We have a Gen1 fort and never in its 10 years(and counting) that we had it that I felt the need for a heater. Wala pa front defogger yan. Madaling araw din kami mag biyahe and wala naman naging problema mapa baguio, tagaytay or sagada man. Just turn off the a/c and use the blower instead.

We were in Baguio last christmas and the car we used was equipped with a heater. The heater automatically turned on due to auto climate control and it was not nice. Sobrang init! Nagpunta ka baguio para malamigan tapos mag heater ka?

if i may opine... "if you want a reliable vehicle, go T. if you want the most exciting, the newest and the mostest, go elsewhere." many buyers are of the first set. toyota knows its customers.

Good news to Fortuner G owners, 16k lang pala magpareupholster nung sidings to match the V color, inclusive of leather seat cover for the seats na rin.

So interior reupholster, HID retrofit, and 20" rims, di ka aabutin ng 100k but you already get the V's aesthetics.

Exactly the same comment I heard from my Mitsu SA (beautiful and ***y lady) to the GM for Sales, a very good friend, of a Toyota Branch here in the south. She blurted "Toyota Fortuner? 'kariton' iyan e " over dinner more than a year ago.....

My friend just laughed it off,- telling her that 'Toyota' sells...

Learned that night too, that her lady friend (and according to her - maganda at ***y) from Mitsu is the GF then of my friend and is now with Toyota.....

Whew! I was saying under my breath that indeed, " 'Toyota' sells ".... <Walang kakupas-kupas,- matulis pa rin ang kaibigan ko>

Last November pumipili ako ng bibilhin, Fortuner G M/T or Montero GLS A/T (wala pa M/T sila nung time na yun), Montero discount is 200k from the list price kahit pa cash payment, and yung undercoat nila is buong ilalim, 3M full tint and with the usual seat cover, floor mat, emergency kit, umbrella etc.. Free 3 year registration.

Sa Toyota 30k discount lang, free tint na lumina (walang kwenta), sa may gulong lang na rust proofing. And the usual seat cover floor mats etc.. Free rin pala ang car registration for 3 years.

Tinanung ko SA ng Toyota bakit ganun lang freebies nila compared sa Mitsubishi, ang sagot lang sa akin, Toyota sir binibili nyo at 2017 model na yan, ang montero 2016 yan.

Havent asked around. Seems like something accessories shops carry. Or perhaps it can be painted.
