Vios is a shining example. Kahit puro negative comments dati na same old engine and tranny sa gen 3, it is still the best selling vehicle in the country today and even breaking all sales records month after month.

Toyota thailanf has all the info for the fortuner.

    I can't believe the 2.4TD 6at variant is cheaper than the 2.7 6at.

    Ground clearance is 193mm?

    No wading depth info yet.

What to expect when it "arrives". Mahaba pa sa pila ng MRT sa umaga, as the first units will be resreved to VIPs, then pipilitin ka mag upgrade ng kung ano ano o kaya mag in house financing na lagpas bubong ang interes.

Then malilipat na sa upgrade parts at set up...

Yes and it will outsell all SUVs.

I think Toyota can supply 2500-3000 Fortuners per month.

Unlike the Mu-x, Isuzu were only able to supply 500/mo then upgraded that to 700/mo. Its still a low number.

There will be a shortage for sure but not too bad. I think buyers will only wait 3-6 months.

I think we will see the 2.7 variants first because of fuel quality issue from the big4.

Kung ako sa inyo wag na kayo umasa pa na maging hot sell ang Fortuner. This new fortuner is like the current Pajero, very expensive unlike noon mainstream days nya the Pajero Fieldmaster was the only hot selling diesel suv in late 90s early 2000s

We'll be seeing a 2.2M Fortuner next year and the entriest level eith bare bones would be 1.5M

The marketing strategy of Toyota on the vios, corolla will be applied here too. First year of the new Fortuner will be sold side by side with old stocks of Current Fortuner, so as not notice the sharp increase in price of New Fortuner, then on coming years, Toyota will release a smaller diesel suv to fill the entry level position of the segment, while the Fortuner will enjoy the pricing of minimum of 1.5M

Ganyan naman nangyari sa prado. So better hold on to your current Forts .. Anchoring ang tawag dyan and early adopters will buy the overpriced New Forts

Sa thailand same lng price ng top of the line everest and fortuner. The everest top of the line is 2m. Im guessing the top of the line for the fort is 1.9-2m di aabot ng 2.2m
