I did dialysis for our then 2009 sta.fe. though I cannot categorically state na yun dialysis ang cause after nun nabali yun input shaft nun A/T. buti na lang under warranty to the tune of 500k for replacement. we had to wait 6mos for the parts. theory ng mga nakausap ko is yun dialysis ang nag loosen ng gunk debris kaya nasira. if I remember correctly 16 liters ata nagamit total flush and refill fluid na. di ko na maalala presyo. servitek ginawa.

I would say best is to go with a simple drain and fill. if it is your schedule then change the filter/strainer as well.

otherwise only go for dialysis as a last option. for example you are already having tranny issues. delayed shifts, crunching or rough shifts. hth

I always replace my ATF every 40k km.

Good for you Sir. as I said I cannot din naman 100% attribute it to dialysis as the cause without evidence. In hindsight also baka naka apekto din yun flushing fluid na ATF (Total). yun final fill lang namn yung spec ATF ng hyundai talaga. In fairness also the sta.fe is still doing fine noe with my cousin who bought it. mag 100t kms. na.

It just affects the clutch packs. Malamang may tama na yun shaft during manufacturing process. Buti nabali under warranty.

Siguro at 50k kaya pa. BTW Unioil Guadalupe at Mindanao ave ako madalas nagpapa gas.

Don't know how to post a pic from Toyota Fort Maintenance Schedule manual Australia but it says that FUEL Filter should be replace every 24months or 40,000km whichever comes first.

For vehicles using fuel from non-commercial supplies, replace the fuel filter every 12months or 20,000 km whichever comes first.

For transmission oil for both Manual and Automatic should be inspected by toyota service center every 24months or 40,000km whichever comes first.

Under extreme conditions or driven in harsh environments Replace transmission oil for both manual and automatic every 24months or 40,000km whichever comes first.

    Extreme Conditions may includes:
-Driving on rough, muddy and dusty roads.
    -Towing.
-Extensive idling, low speed driving for long distance such as taxis.
-Continuous high speed driving (at speeds greater than 140 km/h) for over 2 hours.
    -Using fuel from non-commercial supplies.

Again this is base from Australia fortuner.

    Regards.

May PDF manual ako for both vehicle and maintenance kaso right handed eh, nevertheless same lang ata ung ibang. Pano ba mag share ng file dito?

Convinient kasi kapag nasa phone nalang ang manual by the power of Searching button then hurray : )
