Wow! Those small upgrades made it a good buy. Now, no arguments on the rear drum/disc brake set up for the fanatics and haters. Plus, the new interior color, is way better than the chamois colored on the current one.

I think that increase, can be justified on the useful upgrades.

Ano na kaya latest balita sa car excise tax? Di ba na water down kahit konti?

At least these increases come with good upgrades. They could easily raise prices selling the same stuff due to the exchange rate.

mura pa nga yan 2.25M for getting a Toyota 4x4 that can last 20 years in terms of durability and price value coz it's in the Land Cruiser family association. the appropriate price should be 2.5M for a TOTL Fortuner. This Fortuner can even go to UK and compete with the Land Rover Defender or Germany to beat the Box-Type Mercedez Benz SUV sa durability.

that's a good thing if you buy now, better for the others here who bought in 2016 kasi they are seeing their money appreciate. anong car ang ginagamit mo na sa kalsada tapos nag-appreciate pa, it's only a Toyota.

BTW, for Toyota fan boys pumunta na kayo sa Toyota Museum and FActory sa Nagoya, been there. wow I really enjoyed the place lalo na yun acutual skeleton view ng mga Land Cruisers nila. I could stay there all day and study if not for limited time na merom pa kami itinerary

Same here. The okd gen fort has drum brakes and had no problems with braking. Overrated ang rear disc brakes.[emoji16] of course ibang usapan ang front disks

We dont need those heated seats! We dont have winter in the country. They could've added vsc instead or aircon seats like the ones in LC200

Lol seat heater for what? Init na ng ulo sa sobrang traffic, init pa pwet. Pampalambot siguro ng constipated Fortuner drivers na balasubas mag drive.

On a more serious note. The lack of VSC/ESC/Traction control whatever is a glaring omission for 1.8M. Even the lowly pretend suv BR-V has this. Should come standard on all vehicles especially on a rainy country like ours with slippery af roads.
