Good day people,
Recently, my wife complained of hearing ticking noises on her car's engine while driving. After much nagging .... I decided to take a look.. (or a drive). And here's the story:
At about 2000 rpm / 60 - 75 kph ... one can hear the very distinct "tope" .. which disappears once you step on the gas, or you slow down a bit. Now for a brand new car with all the electronic gadgetry for an engine ... this is not normal ...
Assumptions:
Fuel related? She loads up on fuel (unleaded) in the nearest gas station be it Shell, Petron, Jetti, Unioil ... etc.. Or does she need to load up on the more expensive premium variant?
Engine Management related? I know for a fact that the engine needs no adjustment (mechanical or otherwise), maybe a bad sensor or relay? Toyota RECALL / SILENT CAMPAIGN?
Anybody in here experiencing the same concern? ...
