I have no idea why they are not considering the City and Jazz. I was surprised we left Honda only after looking at the Civic. I asked them why, and they said they'd look too young with it. (Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?)

The problem now is that, due to practicality, the choices have been trimmed down to... only the Vios. I'm trying to open doors for them so that we have more alternatives.

With regards to not considering the jazz and the city, konting pakiusap lang yan. Sayang e, especially considering how the new city/jazz is a littler better specwise than the vios (double airbags vs single, a little more engine power, ipod connectivity, newer styling) Have them check it out anyway.

AND TEST DRIVE!

My sister for example, doesn't like the rear seats/suspension of the vios (nakakasuka daw). I didn't experience any problems when I was in the back though.

All boils down to what each car has to offer both objectively and subjectively

From what I read, it's minor changes (see front grill) - I'm not sure what's coming to the philippines but other markets have had a slightly different and updated interior as with the exterior. (Note the altis rims on the vios in this picture

di ba the vios 1.5E also have dual airbag, abs-ebd i think their specs is almsot the same with the city because i test drove both i kinda like the vios and yaris, compare sa city and jazz but still i agree with you kanya kanyang feel yan.

The 1.5G has the dual airbags, but the 1.3E has only for the driver's side.

The City/Jazz 1.3S has the dual airbags, a little more torque and horses under the hood and a little more features but at a price.

Otherwise, all are still great cars.

Hindi ba ito yung pinaka bago kasi ang sabi nag SA ko ito daw yung 2009 i order a white 1.5E with dual airback and abs-ebd, sorry ha medyo nalilito kasi ako hehehehehehehehe i just want to make sure na bago nga yung na order ko.

Sadly, they are really that deep into the form factor and they aren't considering the City at all. I'd personally prefer driving around a City rather than a Vios in college, but the Vios is respectable as well.

In any case, I think the Vios is a good car. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Sir dadz, baka nga yan yung bago ng toyota since they`re not offering PW to vioses before. Pero ask ko lang rin, if that pic is the actual car you've seen in the dealer, how come it doesnt come with foglamps?
