August 29th, 2013 10:57 PM #1Just saw an oil leak sa garage last week. Had it checked sa Petron, and found out na kailangan daw palitan ang gasket. Sabi ng mechanic, normal lang daw na palitan siya. Just want to make sure kung totoo nga iyung sinabi ng mechanic. And also, do you have any recommended service station na maipagawa ko iyung car? Thanks.

Your car is already is 10 yrs old already and depending on the mileage, this is quite normal. You need to ask the mechanic which gasket needs replacement (ie. valve cover, crankcase gasket, etc..)
You also need to buy the new gasket beforehand before having it serviced.

Buhayin ko lang itong thread na ito. Last night nag-blink na naman yung "H" pero hindi naman dumating sa point na hindi na nagbblink at naka-ilaw na lang. Pagdating ko sa bahay chineck ko kung ano possible problem. Check coolant reservoir (normal), Radiator Coolant level (normal). Upon further checking, napansin ko na may mga oil stains with dirt sa paligid ng engine, sinipat ko and dun ko nakita na may leak between the lines, yung nagdudugtong sa lower and upper part ng engine. Please advise if same case lang sa thread na ito and if need ko na din mag change nung gasket.
Also checked the oil level and mejo mababa na nga cia so I've decided to temporarily added some to replaced the lost oils.
