2 engines available: 1.3 and 1.5

1.3 engine
J - base with 14" steel rims
J limited - airbag (1), fogs and 15" mags
E - ABS, airbag (1) and 14" mags
G - same as E with fogs and 15" mags

1.5 engine
G - TOTL
S - body kits and 16" rims

1.3 J ang cheapest. Check mo kung may J Limited din para naka-fogs na and mags.

Yep... best entry point would be the E though as it comes with airbags and ABS.

Didn't they phase out the E already? And replaced it with 1.3G.

As for the J, I think its either the base (available in White only and non chrome front grille) and 1.3 Limited. I don't if they still sell the regular J (w power windows, hubcaps,etc).

Yep the E was superseded by the 1.3G (missed it by a few months) but since he's looking for a used one all variants are still in the game

I've never seen a non-chrome grilled white model unless you're referring to the pre-facelift with only one line of chrome in the middle of the grill. And there are a few white Gs running around. Don't know if they have 1NZs but their signal lights are on the side mirrors and they have no holes in the fenders where the 1.3s do.

Actually both are being made into taxi. But its mostly the bare one (1.3 Base) that i see on the newest taxi on the road.

PS: For buyers of brand new units, it makes more sense to get the 1.3G (given the kind of huge discounts being doled out - 80K or something).
1.3 Base at the most gets 5K discount.

I leaning towards the Vios J, malaki na kase ang agwat ng J at E. Is it worth the upgrade?
