I tried doing this sa katipunan ave kahapon, pag lipat ko sa kabilang linya, nag thank you ako via hazard, nakita ko yung kotse sa likod nag signal na parang lilipat sa kabilang linya. di agad siguro na gets. I also tried upon merging sa main rd. coming from a smaller side street. yung Mazda 3 na nag give way sa akin naintindihan ata ako, nag flasher naman 2x after ko mag hazard. Aliw! hehehe

Doubt that people will get it, especially PUVs. I'd rather take time to roll my windows down then wave to say thanks.
But it's good to see that people are doing it, who knows it might get known and be a common practice among a group of people.
Sucks that we can count on our fingers the times we say thanks to a co-motorist since very few give way nowadays.

i'm doing this already mostly pag-merging ako.. lalo't may nagbigay (di rin kasi kita pagnagtaas ako ng kamay, tinted). Pero hindi na pag stop & go ang traffic like sa EDSA.
I know kunti lang nakakaalam, pero malay nyo sa mga susunod na generation effective na. May pag-asa pa Pilipinas! (naks!) Seriously, umpisahan natin mga tagaTsikot.com, sabi nga.. habang may buhay, may pag-asa. ;)

April 25th, 2013 10:55 PM #40Ever since I read this thread, I've been doing it. From what I observed, people don't know what it means yet, but the more of us who do it, the more people would understand and follow it!
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
