    maganda na tignan ang paligid sa dinadaanan ng PNR ngayon. Wala ka na makikitang squats na bahay halos. Upgrade na lang talaga ng train mismo. :D

    good news pala yan! bubuhayin na ulit ang PNR. sana nga lang ay magiging well maintained na ang mga tren sa muling pagbubukas nito. tourist attraction din kaya yan. another alternative sa nakasanayang bus.

    kung hindi lang sana inuna "kurakot" mas magiging proud tayo sa muling pagbubukas ng PNR... ganun paman, mabuti narin at pakikinabangan na utang na atin babayaran

    Sir, kulang po ang budget na na-allot sa PNR kaya nahingi pa ang management nito ng additional sa NEDA at DBM. Kung may issue man ng corruption sa project, malabo po yata yun sa PNR kasi lagi kami nakatutok sa development niya mula pa noong alisin ang mga squatters at pag-aayos ng riles hanggang sa pagdating ng mga bagong tren. Madami pa sila kailangan bilhin tulad ng pagbabakod sa lupa ng PNR.

    Old trains will be rehabilitated by the Sta Rosa bus body builders...A prototype (rehabilitated unit) will be release soon...

    ^ ah ok bro. it's good to know that at least those that are still serviceable will still be used to reinforce the train rotation the pnr has.

    I just wonder how safe are these old train cars? The body with have a rehab but how about the under-carriage? We might be having train accidents waiting to happen if they don't service/check these parts as well.
