ooops, sorry, Thumbs Up HQ pala ito.
Ayos iyan bro.,- like they also put it at neutral gear (angel gear) and just coast along the road at every opportunity....

Yep, if everyone kept right except to overtake maybe we could be the most fuel efficient in the world.

I'm taking that article with a grain of salt...

Being "the most fuel-efficient" doesn't make us any better as drivers IMHO.

I own 1 of the most fuel efficient cars, a .8L car, tapos nagtataka lang ako bakit may mga kaparehas lang ako nang figures sa fuel efficiency na mga 1.3-1.5 cars ranging 11-13km/l in city driving. (my car is properly maintained)

then habang nasa daan, saw this jazz at a WTF cruising speed of 40kph samantalang napakaluwag sa harap (you can do around 60-80kph). later on, saw a vios doing around 30kph lang yata. pati innova may nakita akong ganito magmaneho eh napakaluwag nang kalsada. 1 example kunwari yung sa Hemady street, you can do 60-80kph here without compromising safety naman.

eh naisip ko, anak nang tokwa, eh kaya naman pala kaparehas ko lang nang figures nang fuel efficiency eh kung magpatakbo eh parang mga tricycles. wala po akong inaaway, pero kung ganun kabagal magmaneho, you are also imposing danger sa ibang tao. kaya sa ibang bansa may Minimum Speed Limit, but again hindi naman tayo katulad nila.

Ganito kasi mag drive ang mga pinoy, they drive slow tapos pag dadaanan mo to pass, say on the left side, lilipat sila ng lane to the left kung saan libre tapos they drive at their own pace 40-50kph. Drivers of trucks, transport (fx, taxi, jeepneys), private cars and most of all motorcycle riders do this.
    ayun, same sentiments ko.

ang akin kasi, nahihiya ako sa likod ko kung babagalan ko tapos maluwag naman sa harap ko. ito ang kulang sa mga drivers dito, puro kapakanan lang nila ang iniisip nila kesyo kung paano makakatipid instead of just going to the right flow of speed of the traffic.

haha pare pareho tayong sentiments sa mga 'fuel efficient' drivers. no problem naman yung slow driving as long as nasa lugar.

Save money for --> Gas tank or Stomach?

Pero tingin ko mas makakasave ng money if this ethanol thing didn't enter in the fuel market. Oops! baka O.T. na, senxa na

isa rin iyan sa pinaka-kinaiinisan ko.

example you are doing around 60kph, may pumasok na sasakyan bigla, you will be going from 60-20 baka nga mapa 5kph ka pa. tapos maya maya pala takbong pagong ang pagpapaandar kahit bago ang sasakyan. the thing is, sa sasakyan ang hirap ma-build ang momentum, so you need to step on the gas na naman, siguro unahan mo na rin itong lumiko sa harap mo hehe hence a lower FC on your side dahil sa isang nagtitipid.

meron naman sa highway ang daming bumababad sa fast lane doing around 80kph yata anak nang tokwa. bumababad din ako sa fast lane kapag umo-overtake talaga ako and when someone is faster than me, hindi na niya kailangan mag-flash nang lights dahil lilipat naman ako sa lane para paraanin siya.
