Since its essentially an anti-tank missile, its will slice yhrough armor, the entry point will be a small hole, but it will turn the inside into an inferno with red hot metal, flames and shrapnel shredding and burning everyone inside. The other vehicle/ship may not be sinking, but no one is alive inside.

They should have bought these instead of the Polish SOKOL choppers, considering the Presidential Airlift Wing had 2 Blackhawks since Marcos regime...

PHL Air Force Black Hawk pilots to train in United States – Mintfo

The training of Philippine Air Force (PAF) pilots who will operate the 16 Black Hawk helicopters to be acquired from Lockheed Martin Sikorsky will be carried out in Florida, United States, National Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said on January 16 during the plenary discussion on DND’s 2019 budget.

The defense chief made the statement when asked by Senator JV Ejercito regarding the training materials and trainors. “Since [the manufacturer is] Sikorsky, will this already be in English? I assume that these (manuals) will not be in Polish,” Ejercito said.

Though built in Poland, the S-70i Black Hawk helicopters will be certified by US-based Lockheed Martin Sikorsky.

Lorenzana added that PAF wants delivery to start in six months after the contract signing.

“According to the manufacturer, they can produce the whole lot in two years time, but what our Air Force want is once the contract is signed they want deliveries in the next six months – even just couple of choppers to be delivered, maybe monthly thereafter until the whole lot is delivered,” he said.

AFP just confirmed the acquisition of 12 FA-50 light fighters from South Korea. What we're getting is the Block 70 variant, which has AESA radars, NATO comms+data integration, and the capability to carry the AIM-120 AMRAAM -- currently the most capable and proven BVR (beyond visual range) air-to-air missile in the world.

    필리핀이 흔든 판…인도네시아, KF-21 '블록-2' 16대 선점 나섰다 - 글로벌이코노믹

The competition to acquire fighter jets in Southeast Asia is rapidly heating up, centering around the KF-21 Boramae, South Korea's new supersonic fighter jet. Indonesia, which had been at a standstill due to unpaid development costs, recently initiated new negotiations for the acquisition of 16 KF-21 Block 2 aircraft, reportedly due to external factors, including the Philippines' consideration of the aircraft.

According to reports, the Indonesian government has reopened negotiations with Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) regarding the acquisition of 16 KF-21 Block II aircraft. This move goes beyond simply filling a military vacuum; it's a strategic move to secure production slots. With the Philippines recently reportedly considering the KF-21 as a strong candidate for its Air Force's Multi-Role Fighter (MRF) acquisition program, concerns are growing that if Manila wins the contract first, Jakarta could be pushed back in the production queue.

I'm in favor of KF-21 over F-16. We all know how manufacturing in USA is full of cost overruns, and Korea has been hitting the cheap fighter game out of the park.
Better compatibility pa with previous purchases and we'll have a more homogenous force.

Not bad for a 60+ year cheap light fighter plane. No word yet on how the IRIAF did it, but it is plausible with the simulation.

Iran caused more extensive damage to U.S. military bases than publicly known
