..peace.

IMHO, we need desperate measures to curb our desperate problems.

These illegitimate bus companies have been abusing for so long and affecting the income of those with franchises. It is only proper to reprimand them harshly.

One popular misconception is that ALL colorum buses have illegitimate bus operators.

If you watch closely, even well known and legitimate companies have been spray painted with "Out of Line/Colorum" signs, e.g. Victory Bus Liner and Genesis, among others.

Mas marami siyang naging kaaway ngayon, kasi when he was head of the Sidewalk Clearing Operations Group, madami din siyang nasagasaan. We need more people in government like him, na walang pakialam kung sino matamaan, basta nasa tama ang ginagawa niya.

    +1 on this..

pag christmas, holyweek, and all saints day, baka kulangin MMDA ng paint...

bus was impounded in bicol for about a week, 2 bus drivers and their conductor imprisoned.

while me, 1 week din sa hospital.. na-mild stroke

60k charge namin sa bus company, nagbayad naman.

Agree ako dito sa ginagawa ng MMDA for the Colorum Buses.... Agree din ako na too harsh yung pag spray ng paint sa mga buses pero we need to weight things....

If we think that MMDA violates the rights of this Colurum Buses/Operator then we should also think that the Colorum Buses also violate the rights of those legit Buses/Operator daily income. Then lets decide who violates the rights more between the two. The problem here is "kung makakalusot, eh di okay", pero kung mahuli then suddenly complain sila that their rights is being taken away from them. tsk.tsk..tsk....

As sir horsepower said, they wouldn't get that kind of treatment if they simply bought a franchise.

I read another article with the bus groups christening the spraypainting as GESTAPO-like tactics. Hah. They make it sound as if they're so helpless and in need of our sympathy which they do not deserve.

I hope those buses get turned to scrap metal (except for the new ones, bigay nalang sa legit operators), just to press home the point.

with this one, hats off ako ke bayani. . .. . . .ika nga ni walter, "These illegitimate bus companies have been abusing for so long and affecting the income of those with franchises."

this is no different from those pirated dvd's that are sold just about anywhere. . . .they want to earn money but are not willing to pay the required dues. . .

sana lang e hindi ningas kugon. . .

isa lang, the mmda should not claim that the smoothening up of the traffic flow in edsa is a direct result of this spray-painting operation. . . .

    peace of christ!

I was watching 24 oras last night and they reported that traffic at EDSA got better after the spray painting campaign. They interviewed a bus driver and several passengers attesting to the fact that traffic at EDSA improved. I rarely pass EDSA so I don't know if this is true.

I agree about Esquivel. We need more people like him in the Government.

OT but why are the bus companies complaining about the cost of repainthing the buses.
