for some reason gas prices around antipolo is a grip! i see shell stations for about 33.75 super unleaded. the shell station on c5 corner julia vargas is only 33.50 and e10 is 33.25. the cheapest i found was the one on ortigas ave with the mc donalds drive through...no e10 but the super unleaded is only 31.25!!!

edsa southbound, the one near annapolis near greenhills, gave the gasoline boy 100 pesos for unleaded at 31.25 per liter.

now what happened next is pretty interesting. i handed him the 100 pesos and told him to put unleaded. i didn't pay close attention to him as he was pumping the gas but when it was more than a minute i looked back and reminded him that all i paid for was 100 pesos. the gasoline boy turned pale and said sir, i thought you said 1000 pesos.

to cut the long story short, he wanted me to pay the 750 peso difference or they'd drain my tank of the excess fuel. i refused both options saying it wasn't my fault. i was firm and i told him that i had to go. i drove off, and he was left there scratching his head. i feel bad, but hey, **** happens.
    sorry for the OT.

Grabe. And you have the gall to say you "feel bad but... **** happens"??

Were you that short of money that you were unable to cough up P750 for fuel that you will use anyway? This is P750 that will be taken out of the gasoline boy's paycheck !!!

I realize it was the gasoline attendant's mistake but would you want your customer to do the same to you if circumstances were the other way around? Maybe the only way you can learn to be more flexible and forgiving about these things is if you pay dearly (and harshly) for a minor mistake in the future.

Your actions will only beget negative karma. You need to go back to the station and pay the P750 immediately.

Well, it doesn't have to be lent to do the right thing.

Sir XTO, nasilip ko sa Shell sa Commonwealth in UP P24.80 na rin ang diesel.

these attendants earn very very little. i know because i have college friends before who worked there part-time when we were still working our ways through college. If I were you, i'd go back there. i'm positive that nde mo naman ipaghihirap yung 750. yung 22L na pang gala lang naten, eh 1 week na netong sweldo na yun ng attendant. have the heart to go back there and pay for the gas.

para nde OT: Mercedes Ave, Pasig - Petron Xtra Unleaded, 32.75 pa ren.
