tsaka is it true that when you go fully synthetic, you don't have to change your oil as much as, say when your on semi-synthetic oil and on mineral blend of oil?

If you use fully synthetic, You can change the oil between 5,000-10,000 miles (it depends on car model)Most modern car here in the US recommend 10,000 miles before changing the oils,But i don't follow that because oil is cheaper than the engine.

any comments will be appreciated. thanks.
this is like using a premium gas= higher performance = low mileage.

monograde ba kamo? usually SAE 10 to 40. Since designated for specific short temp. ranges lang siya. Eto:

    GRADE: Ambient Temp. in (C)
    SAE 10 = -20 to -5
    SAE 20 = -10 to 10
    SAE 30 = 0 to 30
SAE 40 = 20 to 40 <= best suit for our tropical climate

This is a new brand in the Phil but from a known maker in the US. Actual products sourced from singapore plant. Also known for their hydrocracked mineral oils.

    Sir:

I agree. They may do some serious damage to your rubber seals...

My car's milage is at 112,000 kms.
