With 2 inch suspension lift, the safest-without-scrubbing-fender tire you can fit is a 29" All Terrain tire. ATs can fetch from 3800-5000 depending on what brand you choose.

But I think, wiretap_md did fit in a 30 inch tire before, then sold his tires to Suzuki-San. I'm guessing here, kindly correct me if I'm wrong. :D

You can go with 235/75 on your Vitara with only minimal fender shaving to prevent tire rubbing during full turns. Thats what chieffy did to Suzuki-san's Vitara when he bought my old BF 235/75. I'm currently running on 30x9.5 BF

    more questions for Suzuki Gurus:

    Sirs,

HOw do I get to lift my Vitara? I think there are plenty of options to choose from, may I know the cost implications too?

I would want a 4" lift sana. My tire size is 225/75 right now, when I'm using the roughroad on the NLEX, madalas sumasabit sa rear fender yung tires ko.

    Thanks for your help:nerd:

Changing for aftermarket springs should lift it a couple of inches from your standard height. Different brands at different costs.

Are you sure you want a 4" clearance? Cornering and whole vehicle attributes will change. A couple of inch from your suspension upgrade and 2 inch lift blocks for body lift should do the trick.

With regards to your tires scrubbing, what type and size of mags are those rubbers installed on? I may suspect some offset differences that may cause them to hit the fenders.

Wiretap's body lift was around Php 5K, I think. His suspension lift was a more expensive.

Complete Old Man EMU suspension consisting of 4 coil springs and 4 nitroshocks would give you about P40K damage. This would give you about 1.5-2inches of suspension lift. Add P5,500 for a 2-inch body lift c/o Filmars Katipunan.

many, many thanks on your inputs.

    Ungas,
my tire size 225/75 are installed on stock mags, whats the standard lift clearance?? i live in valenzuela kasi, it really gives me a hard time traversing thru flooded roads on a car. also would want to try out off -roading in the future

i inquired with a shop at caloocan on lifting my zuki,
he advised me to change my stock shocks to monroe w/c cost around P2.5T/pc, and add 3" aluminum lifting blocks at P1.5T/pc
plus minor adjustments & add-ons which I didnt paid much attention to.

    wiretap_md,
is that your vitara under your signature?? That's COOL!!
How high did you lift it?? What are the specs??

Again, many thanks for the help peeps =)

Common aftermarket springs (Old Man Emu) should give you atleast an inch added height (light duty springs). But Calmini brand offers 4 inch up or more. Average price is 4800-6000 per spring (x4). I would advise you to invest on springs instead of lifters or spacers, this will save you money in the long run.

But before doing any lifts, you must decide which tire size & width to use then appropriate suspension adjustments should follow so that rubbers will not scrape those fenders during max extension and compression.

May I also add, if you really want suspension upgrades, better bring it to the experts. wiretap_md should be able to guide you where those shops are located. :D

Isang tanong pa ..... iba pa ba ang lift ng SUSPENSION at iba pa sa BODYLIFT ?? Tnx sa mga replies and hoipefully will finish it soon as possible , my decision would be a 2" lift and stick to the 30" tires and maybe a 275 / 75 ?? Malapit lang pala ako sa Calmini na factory , about 2 hrs drive located at Bakersfield . Tnx again ZUKI gods !!

In my own humble opinion, Filmar's does the best and most reasonably priced body lifts for the Vitara. You can go as much as 3inch body lift but I suggest that the maximum you go is 2 inches without the risk of straining your a/c lines, steering shaft, and extending your gear and transfercase shifters.

Suspension lift includes extending all the suspension parts only, coils, shocks & bushings. While body lift is placing a gap inbetween the body and chassis.

275/75 ratio tire is almost a 32x12.5 inch measurement. Baka po di na kayanin ng differential gears pakutin ang gulong from standstill point.

Mali , 235/75 pala . Anyways ay ano ang the most you can comfortable fit na gulong na the more wier the better . Ayoko kasi na medyo napakalaki ng diameter kaso ang payat . Form over function lang ako unless it will bring to the direction in the future na install the upgraded gears , crawlers etc .

wiretap_md should be able to answer your query since he made lots of tire comparisons from his stock rims.

From my vantage point, my bet goes to 245/75R15, but I think most shops only sell 245 widths for 16 rims.
