that is true.
cleaning and re-gapping of sparking plugs seems to be a lost art nowadays.
maybe because new ones are cheap?
or because today's young 'uns do not know any better?

back in the day, we would clean and re-gap them, until they would be too worn to use.

we would use metal toothbrush + flat file or liha + gapping tool.
and the requisite concrete wall, where we pukpok the spark plug electrodes to adjust the gap.
we had a spark plug cleaner device, but it didn't work as well as our metal brush.
heh heh.
