AT ba yung kinuha mo? Normal naman yung slow acceleration. Para nga syang electric car hehe. Pero very nice to drive yan very dynamic. I just don't know about the brakes and gas pedal na medyo matigas? Baka pa adjust mo after 1,000 km check up.

About sa gas, tama si dreamur, medyo nagkaroon ng engine rattling sound (katok) Jimny ko after 2 months of using Petron XCS kaya I shifted to Blaze. Ang ganda ng Blaze! Pero now I am trying Shell 95 octane for about 1 1/2 months now, mas mura kse hehe. I will observe this first mga 2-3 months ko pa evaluate Shell 95. Blaze kse walang ethanol content.
Thanks a lot theBat, that's very helpful.
They refill with an XCS95 octane from the previous gas na unleaded. The reaction is much better and smoother daw.
I advice them to try the Shell Blaze next refill nila.

Im planning to buy a jimny next year. Am just wondering why we dont have the models in other countries. It would be nice if we had a wider range of selection. There is a jimny street version for example.. but i doubt we'd see it here

Fuel consumption po ng MT? Planning to buy one as my 'frugal' car since I travel 80kms every weekday (NLEX). I currently have an xtrail T30 * 9.5km/L, kaso nalalakasan ako sa gas. I'm not a fan of sedans so jimny is my best bet.

Saka matagtag ba yung ride? TIA

So far sa Wheels or sa Suzuki Makati wala. Even sa Suzuki ph website walang airbags ang jimny. For the price it should at least be dual..

Best FC i got was 12 hiway, mixed could go as low as 5 depending on traffic conditions. No airbags, ride is bumpy as the solid front/rear axles tend to undulate plus the short wheelbase makes it shaky. Slow on freeways, poor AC but fun to drive offroad with those push button vacuum lockers. Good only as a leisure car(cute and nimble, offroad capable, flood ready) or coding car for fetching the kids from school. 800k is pricey for such tiny car. Its jst me..

Thanks sir for the honest feedback. I agree, 790k for its specs is a bit pricey. I just considered na yung 4x4 ang nagpamahal. Although its fun to dress up. I need something frugal (long run) yet a go-anywhere 2nd car. Makes me wanna shift back to pickup truck shopping then.

So I have finally driven my wife's new Jimmy. She loves and enjoying it very much.
No fuel consumptions comparison for now, too early to tell and due to my limited few days driving it.
My initial observation and experience was this car is fun to drive. It doesn't accelerate as fast as most sedan or to me my comparison which is a 2.0 Tucson but it holds itself with its own personality.
Perhaps due to the 4x4 design which are mostly designed as low speed and not to go fast.
Steering is a bit harder but good enough trade off for having a solid front axle configuration. Solid axles are more user-friendly if you intend to lift the vehicle or do some serious offroading.
Overall, I love this car too and it's a keeper.

FC usually ranges from 7km/l to 10km/l depending on driving style and conditions for M/T. Our Jimny deteriorated over the last few years due to poor maintenance that's why I'm saying it's at 7km/l, but I distinctly remember computing the 10km/l and was actually surprised because it was mostly short trips with traffic years before.

I agree its fun to drive and its versatile.

Mabagal siya. 80kph medyo sagad na pakiramdam, definitely not your first choice for highway travel. :D

It's uniqueness makes it stand out. Still a very good vehicle especially if you're into that 4x4 stuff.

*kotiko 80K sagad na yung pakiramdam? Does that mean hirap sya sa skyway or sa NLEX? Around what rpm when you're driving at 80? - just concerned bec my wife really wants to get one next year

Any 4x4 vehicle have low gearing configurations. They are very torquey but are relatively short on hiway runs. Their power are geared on pulling and uphill (torque) not on top speed sir.

When i test drived the unit, i found it was ok up to around 30/40kph. But that was because i was just going around some streets not sa highway. I guess at 80-90kph youll still get where youre going anyway, it would just take a bit longer. But i can imagine napakadali gamitin to for city driving..and parking. Thanks for feedback guys

^ok naman yung going to 100kph. its quick, but not as fast as your sedan.
