I clarified with casa and they said that if I use fully synthetic, then PMS is every 10k but the 1st 1k and 5k is crucial.

I hope it's not a bad thing, but I'm an advocate of fully synthetic all the way. My ford is at 125k kilometers and never had any engine trouble. have been very religious with fully synthetic every 10k.

That's encouraging to know. Would you recommend shifting to fully synthetic oil after only 5k?

Ingat din yung mga maglalagay ng adjustable panhard/lateral rods kasi pwede sya maputol dahil sa wobbling, kagaya ng nangyari sa akin buti na lng mabagal takbo ko noon.
I had it checked out sa Pilhino when I had my injection coils replaced, ang diagnosis nila is to replace the knuckle bearings on both sides. I had it repacked a couple of years ago when I noticed the wobble. However the wobble came back again this year, so I guess that's the culprit. Ipon muna ako at medyo mahal.

Nalula ako sa presyo ng injections coils, P5K+ a pop. I had to replace both kasi bali na pareho. The Jimny is running better now, no more tope!

    Gandang Umaga

    Meron kaming Jimny 1990 Model.
Since mahigit dalawang dekada na ang tanda eh worn out na talaga ang interior at exterior.
Saan ba makakabili ng mga spare parts for very old Jimny?

    disclaimer: i don't own a jimny.

from what i have read, the latest jimny is mechanically identical to the previous models. that means that there would be similar issues. however, as far as i know, the wobble only gets troublesome after tire/suspension upgrades. That means keeping it stock would minimize the problem.

ps: maliit ata jimny for a family car sir...

    Thanks for the response.

Been reading from other forums and viewing youtube videos regarding Jimny wobble as well.
Yes there have been claims that the wobble usually shows once tire/suspension upgrades have been done.
Although, I don't have any intent to do such upgrades and probably keep it stock as long as possible
But according to what I gather so far, the "fix" is to add "shims".
Hence my original enquiry, if the Jimny sold in the Philippines were already "fix"ed?
Hopefully, some of the Jimny owner's can confirm this, please...

Family of 4 lang kami, so sakto lang siya, but if si misis ang papipiliin, ecosport na lang daw
