Nabasa ko din sa newspaper kanina. Early bird promo up to May 30 only. Early reservations get 25k discount.
Good pricing if compared to the Spin A/T petrol version. However, ilang speed ba ang A/T nito? The spin has a 6AT tranny kasi. If at least 5AT ang Ertiga petrol, good value for money na. You get better looks and a better seating configuration (flat folding rear and sliding middle rows for adjusting the leg rooms). However, I might hesitate kung 4AT ito.
I see. Sobrang stripped down siguro ng GA kasi halos 100k na ang difference sa GL na parehong M/T.
edit: I checked sa indonesian sites and single air-con lang daw ang GA versus dual aircon sa GL? Ganun din kaya sa Pinas?
Paps, mpv or auv ang classification nito? TIA

Here is the official price as per Suzuki Philippines:
the Ertiga GA M/T which is priced at 619,000 the Ertiga GL M/T at 712,000, the Ertiga GL A/T at 752,000 and the Ertiga GLX A/T at 812,000.
All powered by a petrol 1.4L engine.
Btw, the also released the price of the new 1.2L Swift. It should give the Mirage a run for its money.

Delikado and Toyota Avanza dito. Sa India nga nakikipag bakbakan sya kahit sa mas malaking Innova. Sa Indonesia naman sa sobrang best seller sya ay napilitan ang Toyota na mag introduce ng mas matinding competition. They will release this new competition sa Indonesian international car show. Not sure pa kung entirely new model or just a vastly improved Avanza/Xenia model that could compete better with the Ertiga. Sa Indonesian car show pa natin malalaman sa Sept 2014.
Di ba diesel variant yung sikat sa Indonesia at India?
Sent from the Twilight Zone...
Not necessarily. Pinoys are very brand conscious. Problem with suzuki is service, parts availablity and resale value ( no offense to our suzuki owners ).Toyota is a well known brand in our shore and given the sales figures, hot selling pa din sa sales ng toyota. Spareparts availability kahit saan meron.

The price is very competitive with the 1.3 Avanza and definitively more affordable than the 1.5 Avanza. My guess is it will be very, very competitive with the 1.3 Avanza and outright kill the 1.5 Avanza with it's price. The Avanza doesn't have that "Toyota" factor. Even people I know that doesn't know it's a re-badged Daihatsu have that feeling that it doesn't "feel" like a Toyota.
Considering it's bigger, has a better engine with bigger torque (vs 1.3 Avanza) it offers more value, IMO. The base GA variant may become a taxi or fleet car and when it does spare parts availability will be more reliable.
I am also seeing more Suzuki dealerships lately. So the dealership network is growing steadily. There's a rather big Suzuki dealership in Sucat, Paranaque. I expect more to come.
Suzuki Ertiga (actual local unit) spotted.

It seems to look better than both the Chevy Spin and Toyota Avanza.
Good job Suzuki!
