August 9th, 2005 09:46 AM #215ReplayJeans, you're in Singapore? We thought you're a typical Manila resident. If you spend a thousand S$ for a set of tires, that would be 30,000 plus in converted rates. Manila tire prices are around 3000 each, depending on the brand and specs.
If I were to push through of replacing the tires, I'll spend around 15,000-17,000, no discounts. They can refer us to a store who can replace them with some discounts, but he couldn't give me any firm numbers. Now that I'm way past that, I'll have to stick with the 185 tires till it wears out.

ok talaga mga taga Suzuki Pasong Tamo. today they dropped my friend's car documents at the office. they brought along a test drive unit (A/T).
my workmate and i were to able to drive it through heavy rains, to magallanes and back. wala na major fuss to test drive their unit.
went through potholes and humps on road behind Honda Makati (pun intended, haha).
it's OK for it's features - bang for the buck. interiors look very decent, hindi tinipid.
i'm just not used to the sound it makes when accelerating, pero ganun daw kasi yun (torque/power thing sorry not an expert).
dealer said today launching nung Swift, will cost P30k more than APV. Monday daw arrival nung units. hopefully, ma-test drive din - then i will know if papalitan ko si JJ (my Honda).
congrats to all APV owners!
