August 19th, 2010 11:10 PM #11ano ba sabi sau ung binili mo ung car? 3yrs warranty? is your car a v6 or a v4?

Is this your first car with a timing chain? Because timing chain (and timing gear) driven vehicles inherently make more noise than a timing belt driven unit.
That's the price of toughness.

100k km or 3 years warranty may ganun. so kung 100k+ km na ang itinakbo nang auto mo sir, automatic out of warranty na yun.
please paki-elaborate more of your problems on your timing chain TS. ano ang problema sa timing chain? we can't help you if you can't give sufficient details to us.

Sir paki linaw naman. So sa 50K km pms don lumabas yung problem?
Nung 40K km pms?
2. Nung 50K checkup mo ano ang odo reading is it 50K sakto or mga 52,000 km na?
Pakisagot to para malinaw.

no matter what, Suzuki don't have "extended" warranties compared to Hyundai and Kia na may 3 years or 100k Warranty na kasama. but warranty varies from vehicle per vehicle yata. I don't really pay attention to these nowadays because of some incident/experience in the past.
to TS: if warranty will be honored, you will still shoulder the parts but you are free from labor charge.

I have been a suzuki fan for so long a time. And the zuk engine by far is one of the best I have driven. Maybe the PMS gap was too long say more than 10,000 kms? Kasi parang unusual naman kung ganoon. And besides, this is the first I have seen na nagkaproblema sa timing chain (older zuks used timing belts - if serviced regularly will not pose any problem naman). Once you fail to observe that schedule, then maybe its their reason for not honoring your warranty.

And if you're included in the free service package, I don't see any reason to miss the PMS.

IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
