Only question is if we'll get the same model, and if Suzuki PH will release the AGS variant

New Suzuki S-Presso gets improved 1.0-liter engine setup, 25.3km/L claimed efficiency | TopGear PH

No changes to the 1.0-liter K-Series gasoline engine’s output, as it stays at a modest 67hp and 90Nm. Instead, the brand has thrown in stop-start idling technology to improve the vehicle’s fuel efficiency. Suzuki claims that the most frugal S-Presso variant with an Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission can do up to 25.3km/L with the new feature.

Is Suzuki PH finally launching S-Presso automatic? | Autoindustriya

We have spotted that Suzuki Philippines (SPH) received an approval for a passenger car that has a maximum weight of 1170 kg and an engine capacity of 998cc. Upon a quick check with the specifications of Suzuki models, we found out those figures very closely match that of the S-Presso.

Suzuki now offering 2023 S-Presso automatic for PHP 660k | Autoindustriya

Aside from the new transmission, the S-Presso AGS also has an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), plus the Engine Auto Stop Start (EASS) system and Hill Hold Control (HHC) that we first saw in the bigger Celerio AGS hatchback that was launched last year. Inside, it also gets a new generation display audio that is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Pwd ba ma disable yang Auto Start/Stop?
Ano advantage nito compare to Wigo?

funny/sad part about a "kid's college car" - the parent and the child would normally not see eye to eye.

    i wonder,
what is its tipping angle, relative to the other similarly-stilted vehicles?

kapag 1.5L and below engine ng car mo, medyo mababa margin for error lalo na kapag CVT yung car.

most CVTs these days have a torque converter, wala na yung clutched cvt like jazz GD, so uphills even from a standstill shouldn't be a problem coz slushbox can torque multiply and slip to get the engine to the right powerband

but spresso is AGS which literally has an m/t gearbox (but w/ a robot operating the clutch) so to get to over 3000rpm you'll need to burn some clutch and i dunno how well the computer can do this

It could be manual, medyo di ako familiar sa model na to as I only observed it in a winding uphill hehe.

Those who have tried driving sa Pantabangan Dam going up, and my first time also, it has a good scenery and good to test drive your car too.

Happened to visit a dealer yesterday. All I can say is:

--- > This car is CRAZY EXPENSIVE for what you're buying.

    Unit price is P620,000 (M/T)
Cash discount is P32,000 so price is P588,000.

    ARE THEY NUTS!?!?!?
A base ("taxi unit") Vios is around P680,000...
    Sino kaya bibili niyan???

Balak ko kasi kumuha ng cheap utility/service vehicle for my business sana so I considered this, but the price is just plain dumb.

    define "cheap".

do your needs point to any particular car model?
or puede na kahit ano, basta may apat na gulong?
personally, it does seem to have a higher ground clearance, if that is a must for the buyer.

    if you are not averse,
    get pre-owned, po.
