I agree that someone who buys a Jimny is buying it because they wants to and they have other cars anyway
Which is why they will probably buy the less practical but cooler 2 door instead

From the review , + factor of the longer wheel base is better driving stability of course on top of space.
True that even in other parts of the globe, it is used majority for city driving . . Easy to park hehe and the + pogi/ganda points hehe

we won't know what we can get away with, if we don't try it...
heh heh.
the background story, for anyone who's interested,
hubby wants a 3 dr jimny.
wifey wants something bigger, for the family.
... "wife! here's our next family car! a 5-door jimny! seigh mo?"
"well... john and jean will sit at the rear. so that's an OK."
personally, the extra two seats at the back may just be the selling point of this new model.
"so why not a fortuner?"
"every other body has a fortuner or a monty or a terra. very few have a jimny."
the affordable exclusivity...

since looks have proven to be a big selling point factor, Suzuki should make their future models look retro.
imagine a boxy Spresso.
Then again, sa Japan marami na nga palang Kei cars looking Retro. If only we could have them
Topgear did a review on seat capacity of the 5-seater jimny. Looks spacious enough if you are not a 6-footer.

The 3door is an ideal 2nd vehicle for solo/duo/student usage. Ticks my boxes.
There isn't any other in the market for those, like our kind, looking for a tiny footprint & simple easy daily body-on-frame live axled RWD/4x4 that goes anywhere, anytime, any weather.
The 5 will do for a lone car household....just me.[emoji4]

The jimny's small footprint is quite popular in the VisMin area where rural mountain roads are rough, narrow, and requires a reliable 4x4 system.
