The rear looks fugly and gay without the spare tire.
Yup, the original still looks better.
Im split with the new rear tailgate though
Just like the 1st gen-CRVs with rear tailgate delete modification it looks wrong at any given angle.
Or maybe, we're just used to seeing the Vitara with its spare tire at the rear .. it makes the car look awkward without having one. But then again, the Adventure looks good even without the spare tire at the back, as well as the Crosswind.
Btw, the rear somehow reminds me of a Cherokee. Difference is, the Cherokee looks better.
Oh well.
I'm pretty sure it will face the same fate as the current one, if not even worse. The Xtrail looks better [in fact, I love it!] than the MMC Vitara and look where it is now.. hardly selling.
The CUV market is just dominated by the Korean vehicles.
Proud and satisfied owner of Grand Vitara
After being transported 3,098 km, Suzie is finally here.
SWEETNESS!!!! :D

Yup the previous model GV still looks better. Suzuki should have just created an "all new" GV instead of a face-lifted one.
Like d_mac, I'm also an extremely very satisfied GV owner. Mine's the 2-liter 4x4 model. She saved my a$$ from Ondoy. I was on my way home, no street lights coz no electricity. I saw a pick-up wade through the flooded waters so I thought it wasn't too deep. So I drove on, first few meters water was half tire deep, then came to the intersection where the water was until my GV's hood... "Bahala na!" I said to myself sabay dasal hehe... I stepped on the gas pedal... diretso, ayun sa awa ng Diyos, my GV survived!!! Pinasukan yung flooring ng tubig but that was it. 3 years down the line, my GV is still working fine having only 2 PMS check up in the casa.
BRILLIANT statement sir!
Never been described so better!
Basta mga Suzuki GV simple lang sir, hindi pa high-profile, pero kumakana mga yan when it matters most, lalo na sa mahihirap na offroading o baha pa yan!
