Sa kotse lang? :D
But yeah, charge this to experience i guess. Unless you're really familiar with the shop/mechanic already and are almost sure of the damage, do get a second opinion.
In my case, when i tend to do "preventive" work as well so if some suspension bits and pieces are to be changed on my daily drive, sinasamahan ko na rin ng tie rods, rack ends, etc. to make the take-down worthwhile.

Medyo pricey. Nagpapalit ako ng lower ball joints (pair) saka tie rod ends (pair) plus alignment sa Goodyear Servitek Center about 3months ago, inabot lang ng P2600 (parts and labor).

natawa ako sa analogy mo. he didn't canvassed anymore since free check-up and estimate dyahe naman daw kung lipat pa siya shop.
and medyo ignorant din brother ko, yan yun tipong oo na lang agad and bayad.
naku kulang sa diskarte utol ko, ayaw niya ma hassle ng ganyan. but this time he learned his lesson.
yes its done properly, pero after hearing the price he paid im not happy anymore. still charge to experience na nga lang.
pwede, nagdala ako shocks and brakes pinakabit ko lang. paid for labor only.
