Help me naman po. I'm begineer rider owner, I heard some un necessary sound whenever I got a pull turn of my steering wheel. Is time na po ba na dapat akong magpalit ng power steering oil?

October 26th, 2005 10:50 AM #2psf should be replaced every 40k kms. noise either connotes a leak or problem somewhere. i doubt tho that replacing the psf will help unless super luma na sya.

changing the power steering oil might help but you have to inspect other factors as well.
1. there could be a loose (slipping) or damaged power steering belt
2. if you keep on putting fluid, there is a leak in your power steering system. have it fixed asap as not to damage the power steering pump
3. as much as possible, minimize making full turns so as not to stress the pump
just bring it to your favorite shop to have it checked.
