August 23rd, 2005 10:34 AM #1I currently have a 205/45/16 Yokohoma ES100 and I plan to replace them. I haven't made up my mind what brand to pick but my first criteria in choosing a tire would be comfort and second is low noise.
I hope you could give me some suggestions on what tire to choose. Will it also be better if I switched to 195/50/16 tires? Thanks

for what car? for me, i'd stick with the 205/45 tires. less comfort, but better traction.

as for me..ill go with the 195/50/16's because of our road condition. unless you are good at dodging pot holes than stick with the 205/45/16 just like ssaloon said, better traction.
