May L300 kami na ginagamit for water delivery. Sa bigat ng load, less than a year napupudpod na tires (185R14).

May nag-recommend na gamitan ng tires with interior. Eto yung mga pinakita ng shops. 6.5x14 ang size (slightly bigger than stock)

Eto mas mura, parang pang truck/bus.

Eto mas mahal, halos doble presyo. "Lug type" or "Kargador" ang tawag nila. Mas ok daw 'to, pero diba pang off-road ang thread pattern nito? Worth it kaya ito?

What brand of tires are you using? I also have an L300 and using the same 185R14 size tires but not using it to haul heavy stuff. Anyway I noticed that Bridgestones or the local Goodyears last longer than those made in India or China.

    1. have your suspension checked. Most tire problems are caused by suspension problems.
    2. AFAIK, Lug type tires are for off road use. You can use them but they are more expensive and dont really last longer than normal tires.

    Thank you sa replies.

Yung 1st pic RIB TYPE pala tawag.

Tapos kapal pa ng tread (pero baka nga ganun din lifespan kung softer compound ang ginamit- just like the Mud Tires for 4x4).

I guess at the end of the day, since mabigat talaga load ng van mo, your tires would really not last long regardless of type or brand. The issue you raised naman is about lifespan and not about your tires blowing up due to the heavy load. For safety reasons I guess sticking to you 8 ply 185R14s would be logical.

Yung 6.50x14 bias construction yun, low mileage compared to radials. Even if you could find a radial with a lug type tread mas mabilis pa rin uminit yung compared to radial na rib type treads. Unless you only use the van at low speed and short trips kulang pa yung matitipid mo sa purchase price dahil mabilis masyado ang tread wear.
