buy kasi ako ng 17' na rims eh walang tires na kasama, ang tires na nakakabit sa rims dati nung nag bebenta sa akin is 205/45/17
tapos may nag bebenta sa akin ngayon ng dunlop le mans na 215/45/17
question ko lang is kasya ba to sa rims na buy ko kung sakali? thanks.

Kasya yan, as long as 7 to 8" and width (17x7 or 17x7.5 or 17x8)

Kasya yan, as long as 7 to 8" and width (17x7 or 17x7.5 or 17x8) to accomodate the tyre width of 205 up to 215.

really dunno about other guys experiences.

The best tire I have tried is MICHELIN XM1.

    1) It has a 340 treadwear rating as compared to a usual 200-240 rating. -matagal maupod
    2) Super low rolling resistance - The car uses less gasoline. (I can attest to this!!)
    3) Super grippy in both wet and dry roads.
    4) Very Quiet. The most quiet tire I have ever tried. Even Better than the Turanza GR80.
    5) Super comfortable ride.

This Michelin may seem a bit more expensive but it is really worth it. Even my wife who does not know anything about cars felt the difference when she drove the car. Gumaan daw ang steering, bumilis ang car and gumanda ang bagsak ng suspension. Plus, parang tumahimik daw sa loob ng car and tumipid pa sa gas.

For comparison on the tires I have owned, I have tried Pirelli p6000, bridgestone gr80, conti super contact, michelin vivacy, michelin mxv4, dunlop 702, Pirelli p4000, Pirelli p4, goodyear F1, etc..

Hehe... I bought XM1s... for my delivery truck. Love the tires, they feel really light... pero ang sakit sa wallet because I bought 5 pieces.

RE: Federal - same experience. They wear out fast, get bubbles, and they become very slippery when the tread gets worn down. The set I had wobbled at high speeds when they were only two or three months old!

Very disappointing that the grip levels of the tire aren't concommitant with the increased wear. You'd expect quick wearing tires to be stickier!

If you want budget tires, Gajah Tunggals are much much better. A little noisy, but they have more than decent grip and they last forever. In fact, you'll be sick and tired of them by the time they wear out.

BTW, Bridgestone has just released the MY01 (hope that's right). This is a budget version of their older Potenza Grid series and seems aimed at the cheap tire market. Grip is very good (it's a Bridgestone!) and the looks are suitably sporty.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

me too..i had an XM2 or was it XM3...the rides nice...tumipid sa gas, light, great grip even on moist roads...lasts forever, bought it almost a year ago, used it everyday pero makapal pa din. never failed me pa naman and i hope it will never ever fail on me...problem ko lang ay yun nakuha ko medyo mataas. 185 ata so mukhang taxi car ko...got it for 1850. its a bit expensive but well worth the money.

wag ka magtipid sa gulong. when your a runner/jogger,you should buy good shoes to avoid injury and problems that may arise from buying cheaper shoes or shoes that are meant for other things,so should your car have the best set of tires...its the business end of the car, next to the engine and suspension

THE BEST talaga ang xm1 ENERGY series ng MICHELIN. This tire replaced the mxv8. Forget the Michelins from the past. This is really the best everyday passenger car tire. Don't mind kung mas mahal, in the end, these tires last 3x more than the cheaper brand.

BTW, wala namang xm2 or xm3. Baka mxv2, mxv4 or mxv8? The XM1 is the latest tire of Michelin for 2005-06.

Our 2006 Sonata came with Michelin XMV4 S8's (215/60 VR16). Very stable at high speeds.
