Having experienced suspension problems in my 12 year-old car, I can say that replacement parts are still better than just having them repacked.

I had front suspension rattles before, and it turned out that it was the repaired stab links that were the culprit. These were orig stab links, but still they broke down. I replaced the stab links with 555 replacements, no more noise.
