July 19th, 2004 04:25 PM #1i have a spare tire under my td27 (van kasi) that hasn't been used since i bought the van brand new three years ago. is it okay to use it as one of my tires now that i have to replace the stock tires? thanks!

Yes, but I would suggest that you warm up the rubber a bit before hitting the expressways. Let it roll around Metro Manila for a few kilometers para di mabigla ang goma. You might want to check its pressure, before using it.

Hindi naman babad sa init ng araw yung goma unlike sa SUV mounted reserve tires.

check mo yung condition ng goma ng mabuti, and of course, check the pressure

changed a flat tire with my original issue bridgestone dueler a/t spare in the nlex. 3 yrs old ung tire that time, my ride a nissan frontier. it ran 3 km before it disintegrated. i think the pressure was a bit high though...

August 2nd, 2004 11:43 AM #8maraming salamat po sa inyong mga kasagutan. ang problema na lang po... paphase-out na ang wrangler dt na spare tire ko at papalitan na ng wrangler d-sport (magkaiba po sila ng tread). isa pa pong tanong...pwede po bang ang isang pair ng gulong ko ay dt, at ang isa pang pair ay d-sport kahit magkaiba sila ng tread? kung pwede, alin po ang sa unahan at alin ang para sa huli? maraming salamat po ulit.

Yung newer pair of tires sa harap (assuming D-Sport). Then older pairs (assuming DT) sa likod.
