If you have the extra budget, get the KYB AGX shock absorbers. They have an 8-point setting to allow for adjustments in stiffness. The base KYB Excel-G gas shocks are good as OEM replacements but a better shock absorber will suit lowered vehicles. However, dami na rin gumagamit ng Excel-G for lowered vehicles so I guess they will be fine for the budget conscious.

Kung malaki yung budget, coilovers na gamitin mo.

pag matagtag lalo na kung naka lowering springs na, normally shocks but there are times na kailangan na rin palitan yung mga joints.
pero kung putol springs lang, talagang matagtag yan.

Hi guys, may tanong ako, I have 205 40R 17 for my rear, and Ive noticed na masyadong malapit ung tire(sidewall) sa shock's perch(~0.3 inch clearance between shock and tire's sidewall). Yung shock's perch height clearance naman from the tire's tread is around 1 inch naman.

    So the questions are

    - Is the clearance of ~0.3 inch between the shocks(perch) and the tire's sidewall safe? Pwede ba ako magsakay ng mga 3 tao sa likod ng kotse?

    - Is the clearance of 1 inch between the shocks(perch) and tire's tread safe?

imho, i think it would be alright as long as hindi fully loaded yung likod mo.
i think max you can put there is two people, otherwise kakayod yan sa gulong, mapupudpod and hindi magiging safe.

This is the lower perch? That will move along with the tire, so a tight clearance there isn't an issue. When the tire deforms under load, compression on the bottom will not make the sidewall bulge out at the top.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
