June 30th, 2003 09:18 AM #1Question lang po. How long before you need to change the shock absorber of an AUV? My brother own a 2000 REVO with over 60K Km on it and I suggested he changed the shocks kasi parang malambot na gamitin. Can you use after market shocks para mas maganda ang ride? Ano brand maganda and saan maganda magpakabit (preferably Q.C. area)?
Thanks a lot.

Kung malambot na or may leaks na, palitan mo na. Yes, you can use aftermarket shocks. Bilsteins are great but if you're on a budget, high-end KYB shocks will do (gas-a-just series na silver).

Shocks are pretty easy to replace as they were designed to be a service item so you can bring them pretty much any shop you are comfortable with.
