instead of buying surplus shocks wherein you are not sure kung ok pa yung shocks na makukuha mo o kung kelan masisira, just have them repaired at zee or cruven for i think 800++ each. may warranty ka pa ng 1 year.

Bro, tama si happy_gilmore. Magparefill ka nalang sa Cruven, kung super-tight ang budget then Isang set lang (left and right shocks) piliin mo na lang kung sa harap o likod (which yung mas sira).

just changed my two front shocks, put kyb as what many had recommended. ok naman ang feel nya.

700 yung convert/refill then 100ea for labor. the nice thing is adjustable pa yung psi ng shocks mo-- they initially pump 50psi in and then you can have them adjust it to smoothen the ride. 6mos po yung warranty.

I had mine converted at their Cubao shop and I'm very happy with the result but it's a little bt stiff so i'll probably go back to the shop in a week's time.

Sulit talaga. Saved me almost 8k for shock replacements and other under chassis repair.

Nakasabay ko sa shop yung isang repeat customer-- he had his shocks converted 2yrs ago and ok pa daw.

Got my KYB Excel-G shocks from here din. Pero mga P3K+ for an '03 Camry. Noticeably stiffer yung KYB Excel-G compared to OEM (Tokico) shocks, especially now that I'm on lowering springs. Thing with that though was the OEMs, which rode a bit smoother, lasted only about 2 years and cost about P10K each. You could almost buy 3 Excel-Gs for the same price, kaya pagtitiyagaan ko na lang to hanggang mejo lumambot na.

Would anyone know the stock shocks for Corolla 96 gli? Gas or Fluid? I've been wanting to have my shocks replaced but delayed doing so coz when I called the casa last year they quoted me the ff prices:

    Front Left - P5949, Right P6383
    Rear Left - P6674, Right P6637
    Labor - P825 per shock.

I find it too expensive so I called my suking auto shop and they said that they don't have original shocks, only KYB. (Fluid Type P2,100 and Gas Type P2,400) - Price quoted last year

The last time I had my car checked (around 0CT 07) by the mechanic at the auto shop, he said that the shocks were still be okay but just this week I noticed that the ride has become rough/matagtag on the driver's side. If the front shocks are damaged already, do I replace just the front shocks or would it be better to replace the rear as well (kahit di pa sira)? Does anyone know where I could buy original shocks for my corolla? or would KYB do na?

how tight is your tight budget? kung talagang tight, just have your shocks repaired/refilled at cruven or zee.
