what available preformance shock absorber are available in the market for the new crv? would it make the ride more comfortable? i find the ride very bumpy close to that of it's class namely the revo and crosswind.

Honda Civic ang platform ng CR-V. Maybe Honda Civic performance shocks will work for it.

Gen 1 CRV yung car. May nababalitaan kasi ako pag honda daw di basta basta ang pagbabaklas ng suspension. I was quoted for 17th sa casa to replace front shocks.

If you want to improve the ride check out the CR-V thread in HCP meron nakuha mga Gen2 boys dun JDM Rear springs for Gen2. Cheaper than what the casa offers. So far their reviews indicate that ride has improved with the spring swap only.. no need to change the shocks.

    promdiboy,
same lang sa EK Civic yung suspension ng CR-V gen1. madali lang baklasin yun kabisado na ng shops who knows how to handle civics.

I just changed mine 2 or 3 weeks ago with Bilstein shocks.

Sobra overpriced. for a set of 4...30k aabutin sa casa. SA US sites dapat around Php19k lang aabutin lahat.

For 30k all in all ..ka price nya na brand new Bilsteins. Downside with getting bilsteins though magiging stiffer yung ride pero gaganda handling. Pwde bumili ng Bilstein na pair lang.

Another option would be KYB shocks. Meron na KYB replacement shocks for Gen1 V...dati mahirap maghanap nun.

Nakita ko sa HRC ..2000 isa...meron sa ibang shop 1.8t. Gas shocks na to just like the OEM shocks na gas rin.

i dont think may avail na shocks na rancho, OME for the gen2 CRV, even for the gen 1 here sa phils.

    PROMDIBOY,
1000 singil sa shocks install (250 per shock). meron Lifter sa fusin R and a spring compressor that they use to safely dismantle the shock assembly.

Inabot din ako around 1800+ for all those shock mount rubbers.
    Front shock assembly:

*yung nasa pic sa taas labeled as #6 yung rubber mounts

    Rear shock:

*2nd pic yung labeled as #2 naman

Wala OEM shocks nga lang sa Fusion R yep the trade off in having Bilsteins installed mawawala yung comfortable ride feel na well known for the Gen1 V.

here's a quote from HondaCR-V.org (sayang nabasa ko lang itong post sa HondaCR-V.org nung nakabili na ako ng bilstein hehe..)

In my experience ganyan din.. when negotiating speedbumps tumatalbog ngayon yung likod ng Gen1 ko parang Gen2 CRV hehe

    *edit
dagdag lang.. if you're going to get OEM shocks or KYB.. wala pa kasama bumpstops yun so you need to get those too. sa Bilstein may kasama na Bumpstops

The shops is my friends, sa shocks lang kami partner. Team Centerline Car Audio and Acc. But its in the province.

May OME avail but not yet in stock, your option if you want to change it now would be Bilsteins, OEM, and maybe KYB. Bilsteins come with adjustable ride height, you can lower/lift your ride without the need to change springs. Nasa 30k plus ang set.

supierman thanks for the info very helpful, I guess worth it na talaga yung oem shocks sa casa kahit sobrang mahal. yan na siguro kukunin ko. your right the CRV gen1 is known for its comfortable ride.

    OEM na!

may nabasa ako dati may nagpost dito nung tinaas yung CRV niya ng casa sa liffter natanggal yung shocks. parehong pareho kami nung inakyat sa lifter bumigay yung shocks. Cant find tthat theread. I wonder kung anong pinili niya.

OEM shocks talaga mas soft ang ride, right now i'm using an OEM shocks in front, KYB sa likod. I remember para sa accord, OEM shocks is P4000+ each lang, compared sa casa almost 6000 each. accord yun ha, mas mura pa pag civic or crv siguro.

May warranty pa siya kaso naisip ko quick fix nanaman ang mangyayari dito, might as well replace the whole thing.

sa gen 2 just replace the springs.

sa gen 1 madali masira shock. kyb or bilstein will work fine.
