    I got my ranger back just this week after i lent it to a friend who had to go out of town for about a week and a half...
    pagkakuha ko.. while driving pauwi along expressway... i noticed na lakas ng wiggle ng steering wheel.. i stopped by petron nlex.. medyo madilim kaya hindi ko gano napansin kung ano cause.. so drive pa rin ako... next day i drove the ranger uli to work and have it checked sa motor pool doon... and yng left hand tire eh almost kalbo na.. kita na yung steel belt!

    sinilip din ng mekaniko and suggested to change ball joint (upper and lower) as well as bushing ... i found parts available outside of ford casa ...

    but then parang di pa ako matahimik... today i drove around metro manila to follow my appointments and talagang sigurado ako na hindi pantay ang tayo ng ranger... it seems na mas mababa ang tayo ng front right hand side ng ranger, compared sa left hand... yung clearance ng wheels at wheel well ay mas maliit sa right, compared to that sa left...

    naiisip ko rin na malamang related to sa observed ko na biglang pagbagsak ng fuel consumption ng ranger na to.. dati rati.. hindi naman bumababa ng 8.5km/li ang takbo ko dito... right now (and for the last 3 -4 tank fills) eh nasa 7 na lang siya...

    ano kaya ang possible problem pag ganito? gano kalaki kayang sakit ng ulo ito?

    well, the increased fuel economy can be partly due to problems in suspension. the more friction, mas hirap yung auto. pero it shouldn't make that much of a difference naman.

    sana nga adjust lang torsion bars... but are there any other probable problems sa ganitong symptoms?

    Ang pagkaka alam ko robust ang suspension ng ranger kaya kung ganyan ang prublema after sinoli ng friend mo e better asked him kung may aksidente nangyari sa kanya. My parents have a 4x2 Ranger for 3 years na at wala pang sira sa ilalim considering pinang kakarga nila.

    The uneven height may suggest na sira either ang spring mo or yung shock absorber mo.

    After mo you've replaced the bushings and ball joints, ipa align mo rin. Siguradong misaligned yan.

    tama yun mekaniko mo ,kaya me wiggle yan saakyan mo, delikado rin ang kita na ang steelbellt sa gulong ,baka sumabog sa daan lalo na sa harapan pa , baka mawalan ka ng control sa sasakyan mo,
    palitan mo na ang gulong ,balljoint and bushing, sa labas nalang ng casa para mura kaya lang siguraduhin mong hindi peke yan mababili mo maraming peke ng balljoint lumlabas na galing taiwan, pa compare mo yun orig(ford) tsaka peke kung bibili ka sa labas ng casa

    sa tayo ng ride mo pwedeng gulong din and problema, pwedeng shock,or spring,

    nabaklas na yung front suspension... and ang findings:
    1. LH upper A arm needs to be replaced since yung bushing ay maluwag na dun sa butas
    2. suspension shaft needs to be replaced - this is weird.. may signs of tampering like nilagare, although i don't remember having this ranger sent to a mechanic to fix suspension issues
    3. yung mga spacer (or washers) also are missing.. hindi pantay yung sa left suspension and sa right suspension... yun siguro nag cause ng misalignment.. kung pano nagkulang yung spacer.. di ko talaga maisip...

    may nakaka alam kaya dito sa tsikot san maaari mag source ng mga parts na to? outside of ford casa?

    if you honestly believe na b4 mo yan pinahiram. maayos yan then your friend have meet an accident then pinaayos nya para d mahalata. kaso palpak gawa. just my 2 cents. don't let your car be driven by your supposed friend para areglado.

    bushing lang katapat nyan pero.hwag palit ng suspension arm. mahal un. kami sa exp. sa pickup we just changed bushing..
    bdw i have spare 4x2 bushing from my previous ranger (pm me if your interested.)

    ask your friend kung me nagyari ba sa ford mo , kasi napansin mo yung kakaibang takbo ng rides mo,and pinaayos mo .baka magsabi siya kung me nangyari sa sasakyan mo.

    may nakuha na ako bushing but may signs nga of tampering yung suspension arm... mas malaki na ang butas compared sa size ng bushing.. aalog alog din sya kahit bago ang bushing... 4x4 nga pala yung ranger...

    kakainis yung ganito eh.. medyo i've been thinking about disposing the ranger for some time now.. pero naiisip ko na mahirap ang pera ngayon so patagalin ko muna... pero kung ganito namang sakit ng ulo... parang gusto ko na talaga dispose to pagka tapos maayos..

    Btw, are you the first owner? Have you already talked to your "friend" at natanong mo if may accident na nangyari sa kanya?
