    Pansin ko lang na parang lumuluwag nanaman ang steering ng L200 ko. Kapapalit ko lang this year ng mga parts:pitman arm, rods, shocks, etc. Kapag kinakaliwa ko parang may magasypang na part :x (kulang yata sa greasing) tapos pag naka 60-70kph na, ayun malikot na.

    Question:
    1. Di ba matagal naman bago palitan ulit ang mga sinabi kong parts? City driving lang naman me eh.
    2. May inaadjust ba sa steering block para medyo sumikip ulit at maging secure ang handling? diba meron?
    3. Ginigreasing ba regularly ang mga joints ng mga pang-ilalim? ang steering kit?

    Baka wala sa steering ang problem at baka sa gulong or suspension. You mentioned malikot steering at speeds of 60-70 kph. Baka kailangan ng ipa-wheel balance front wheels mo. Baka wala na din alignment.

    baka maluwag na yung bearing sa gearbox ng steering. naiikot ba pag nakapark?

    definitely hindi po sa wheel balancing un kasi kakapa-balance ko lang ng wheels ko. I'll check into it na rin when i have my wheels aligned.

    Fierari,
    un nga ang duda ko eh. Dun sa gearbox? Talaga bang lumuluwag un? Yup pag nakapark, mga 2" na ang naiikot right and left. So what should i do with this? do i have to spend for something?

    Ang pinalita mo ba mga shocks, pitman arms and tie rods? di mo ba pinalitan ang mga ball joints? na check mo ba yung lower control arm bushing mo? bakal na ba ang control arm bushings or yung lumang klase pa yung rubber? Baka nga kialangan nang i align or balance ang wheels mo. Sa akin kasi mga 1 1/2 years na ang pang ilalim ko wala pa din problema, nilalagyan ko ng grease ang mga ball joints and tierods ko every change oil ko. Sa tingin ko hinde sa greasing yan, baka sa wheels lang di naman basta basta na sisira ang ball joints and tie rods.

    Ako na rin po may itatanong sa mga pajero experts.
    kakapalit lang ng mga ball joints, pitman,idler,suspension arm assembly ko and nag pa align din ako and may inadjust din sa gear box ko para mawala ang play(ba twag dun) sa steering wheel. After 2 weeks, bumalik ang kabig papuntang kanan and yung play sa steering wheel bumalik din, para tuloy ako pampasahero jeep sa manibela.
    Saka pag nalulubak ako i can hear parang metal to metal sound sa steering wheel ska mafefeel yung kalog sa steering wheel. May nagsabi na bka daw bushing sa steering wheel column sira na, how true is this.

    HIndi kaya control arm bushings na iyan? Yung bushing where the control arms attach to the frame of the vehicle?

    Ano ba ang ginagawa ng balljoints and how will you know kung palyado na ito? :?:

    Anyway, i'll let servitek check it out on sunday siguro. May marerecommend ba kayo na shop na open on sundays para mapacheck-up ko itong problem ng L200 ko?

    Taga Marikina ka diba? Sa Servitek Marcos hiway. Ok diyan. Play ba or wuego (spelling?) ang problem. Kasi I don't advice na i-adjust yun screw on top of the gearbox. That will be your last resort. Check other components of your suspension and steering. Mayroon din i-naadjust yun pagpasok ang steering rod sa gearbox (another last resort). Baka maluwag na. Just don't over adjust this baka ma wornout yun stick bearing (mine)inside

    just wanted to know kung anong adjustments or repairs ginawa nila sa ride mo and most importantly, how much damage sa bulsa . I have a similar problem on my ride. tagal ko ng pinagtyatyagaan.
    yun sakin, di naman malikot pero hindi steady yung steering wheel pag nagmamaheno. pag tagilid sa left kalsada, nag swe-swerve ako to the left, and same thing pag tagilid to the right ang kalsada. kaya bawi na lang ng bawi gawa ko sa steering. parang meron lumuwag sa steering gear box or something.
    di naman misaligned, kasi kung nasa level/flat road ako, di naman sya nag-swe-swerve.
    anyways, basta ganun. my prob is similar to what you described.

    lumuluwag talaga yan DIY lang yakang yaka yan screw driver lang at no. 12 na wrench. masama din ang sobrang higpit dapat tama lang.

    If your powersteering gearbox needs to be serviced, I can vouch for afrasay's cousin (or uncle hehehehe). I had him overhaul my gearbox a few weeks ago and palit lahat ng o-rings, gaskets, etc. which I brought with me (OEM for Suzuki). Took us about 4 hours. Total cost? P800 lang. Matagal lang kasi ang pag pull-out. Pero yung overhaul and pagbalik, mabilis lang.

    Kasi my problem was this: I used to have about a 1.5-2inch play on my steering wheel. Even though I adjusted the tensioning screw on the gearbox, nandun pa yung play inspite of the steering becoming stiff. Pinalit ko na lahat na dapat ipalit: tierod, rackends, ball joint, idler arm bushing. Tapos I noticed that when I do turns either to the left or right, may intermittent roughness. When the gearbox was opened, I saw for myself na madumi na yung PS fluid sa loob with a layer of sludge. Some o-rings and gaskets were worn out already. Pinalit lahat. I also found out that my centerlink needed replacement already. Zukie drives like new now.
