Power Steering Leak

tanong ko lang po, san kayang shop na malapit dito sa las pinas murang magpaayos ng leak sa power steering? I have it checked sa Rapide rack and pinion kit na daw kailangang palitan. Yung isa namang shop dito sa me casimiro, both rack and pinion kit at pump kit daw ang kailangang palitan. meron kaya kayo ma-rerecommend na malapit dito sa las pinas or kahit sa evangelista? how much kaya magagastos ko for this? medyo kapos kasi sa budget. (mahal kc ng quote sa rapide, rack and pinion kit at labor p lng 9,600 na, dun naman sa me casimiro 9,350 singil sa kin for both rack and pinion at pump kit).

ok lng ba na surplus o replacement lang ang gamitin? san po kaya ok kumuha ng ganito?

my car btw is an old toyota corolla gli 96 A/T.

palitan mo na yan... kasi akin dati inuna ko pump lang... tapos nasira pati yun hose... tapos nagkanda leche leche kasi tinuluan ng atf yun fan belt, dumulas... nasunog yun alternator... nasira yun pulley... tapos sunod sunod na... in the end, P33k + P40k binayaran ko sa auto ko...

malamang repair kit lang yan...dont know about the corolla,pero one of the headaches of my maxima is the repair of the steering rack.

sa casa ako nagpagawa... pero yun pump kit hindi... kasi marami na talaga sira... pero ayaw ko pagawa kasi mahal... ayun ang nangyari...

change power steering fluid regularly next time wag lang top up. top up already means may nangyayari na- either may leak na o depleted na additive content ng power steering

pag 9600 baka mas madali bumili ng surplus. i think brand new costs around 15t i could be wrong

pagawa mo agad bro, yan ang isang part na talagang domino effect kung may nasira isa... dati pinabayaan ko small leak ng rack ko, tapos top off lang lagi, then naghigh pressure nasira din yung hydraulic hose lumaki pa gastos.

Sa may Taft ave right after the Edsa station going to Libertad, ang daming car part shops doon na may tambay na mechanico. Although my car was a Sentra that had a power steering hose problem, pinalitan ko doon at replace rin ng repair kit. ok rin trabaho nila.

domino effect ba yun? i had mine replaced pero yung hose lang. okay naman as i was able to get the car home. that was saturday afternoon, but come sunday night i couldnt use the car because, it would not start. and pansin ko walang brakes.

what could be the cause. (ayun, still not using the car pa din).

jg2003, there's a shop along zapote near the overpass. they fix power steering leak problems. toyota corolla pala ride mo, i think may surplus sila niyan. yung kasabay ko toyota din, they changed the whole thing.

Jiggs: Kung pinatagal mo lang naman... Like I did hehe, mga 4-5 months ko ata dinaan sa top-off-top-off kaya ganun.
