If memory serves me right, the labor cost of Wheelers is okay already. Cruven charged us more for the Galant many years ago. Wheelers doesn't carry parts so they just canvass it from their suking tindahan nearby. You can bring down cost by buying the parts yourself at the auto supplies on the E. Rod side of Banawe.

Yes ung cost of parts na nakalagy is kami na nagcanvass.. casa and suking multimotors banawe ang knunan... satisfied naman sa gawa mabusisi.. si mang nanding gumawa mahusay now osbserve nalang kung wala na talaga leak..

White na Altis. Pero sandali lang naman since they just had to clean the brakes and retorque the bolts. Pag heavy work nga they do it inside or on the 4th stall at the side.

My main gripe with Wheelers is really that they sometimes can be conservative with assessing parts for replacement: kung pwede pa, pwede pa talaga but as a the driver of the car and you're OC, you know the part is already a bit worn (pero pwede naman talaga). At least you know hindi sila nagtataga unlike a certain shop on the Goon Squad forums.

hindi niyo na kailangang lumayo pa para lang ipagawa yung hose niyo. masmakakamura pa kayo at maganda ang quality.

almost a month nadin nungpinagawa namin sa Wheelers banawe PS ng car namin.. okay naman almost 1 month wala ng leak but before mag mahal na araw bullshit bumalik ang leak, hassle samin kasi mahal na araw iuuwi yung car sa province long drive pa naman and lagi ginagamit yung car, hindi ka kampante kasi may tumutulo nanaman sa car mo pero mahina lang(PS fluid)... last sunday lang pag uwi sa manila galing province from heavy traffic mismong pagtapat sa bahay namin dun lumakas ang tulo parang ihi na sa lakas..

balik kami sa wheelers by tuesday at kausap namin gumawa mabait naman and sumasagot din sa text namin...
check up again PS... ang masama sabi mechanic PS shaft naman daw whooping 7500 sa casa and 1400 yung repair kit and 1 month waiting bwesit
ginawa namin pumunta sa surplasan sa banawe, nagcanvass, 8k buong PS assembly natawaran 7.5k plus trade yung tatangalin na PS minus 1.5k.. so 6k nalang lahat with 3 months warranty pa compare dun sa almost 9k na repair ulit wala pang guarantee kung mawawala yung leak...

so nag go kami sa surplus so far ngaun wala pa namang nagleleak and my 3 months warranty pa...

si Toto likod ng multimotors malapit na sa e.rod.. kilala mo?power steering specialist orig. din pinalit pareho (part number ata un).. mukhang marunong naman sila kasi alam nila yung agagawin sa airbag.. and wala pang 2 hours ginawa hehe.. sana wag na bumalik leak sakit sa ulo and malapit na change oil sabay sabay gastos
sa ibang part naman nagkaleak sa may shaft daw ang leak, before buksan sa wheelers wala namang leak dun... pansin ko after pagawa sa wheelers may tok na sound pag kabig ko sa kanan...
nung napalitan ngaun ng surplus nawala nanaman yung tok..

since nung pinalitan ng surplus hindi pa ako nagdagdag ps fluid, wala ng leak and mas gumaan pa ... hindi na namin kasama yung gumawa... maya hanapin ko calling card nila post ko address and no. para matawagan mo muna...
sa kanila din galing yung surplus na pinalit... makita mo store nila walang ibang laman kundi PSteering..

si Toto kausapin para maayos kausap dami kasi boy nun... naka discount kami kasi visaya si Toto hehe nagbisayaan lang discount na... 6k lahat iwan mo na ung papalitan nila psteering mo...sila na kakabit mga 1 and half hour lang ginawa.. 3 months waranty..
mas madugo ang PSteering kapag repairkit.. pag surplus palit buo may waranty kapa ..

If you overhauled your power steering/rack and pinion and the leak came back, it is probably the rack and pinion itself. Your repair man should clean the rack and pinion rod itself to see if there are scratches on it. If the scratches are there, the leak will come back. You need to replace scratched rack and pinion rod. Surplus is OK as long as it shows no scratches when it is clean.

Also check your bushing and axle boots because leaks from the rack and pinion assembly can damage them.

hmm baka mali yun pagkakabalik ng gearbox mo bro. refer ko sana yun friend ko kaso malayo sya eh. taga san pablo city laguna. sya nag-ayos ng PS ng pajero ko. Baka kasi nung binaklas eh mali ang pagkakabalik ng bearings dun sa parang malaking screw? pagkasi ganun, medyo puwersado yun pinaka-shaft dahil ipit masyado yun mga bearings

Sir OTEP...good afternoon po...ask ko lang po kung saan yung ABC hydraulic na binabanggit mo po...kung galing po ako taft ave LRT bababa po ako ng R.Papa LRT station saan banda po doon...mismo doon din po ba sa LRT station...pakiguide lang po ako maraming salamat po...kasi may leak din po yung mga hose ko kaya balak ko po puntahan yun ABC hydraulic...salamat po ulet...
