Bilstein. But pricey. Consider Rancho RS9000XL or IronMan Nitrogas shocks. Get 'em from 199ORH.

Bilstein will be a good choice then...mas mahal yata bilstein. But your almost new stock (likely KYB) should be good enough. If you're going to increase ride height, then maybe that's the time you change.

My 2007 hilux 4x4 had a 2" lift early this year...I used ironman 4x4 brand...nagustohan ko handling niya sa kurbada, ganda ng damping. OME is generally matagtag/mas matigas than bilstein (as per my friends observation on his hilux).

thanks sa inputs bro..might ko go with bilstein, hindi naman ako nag o-off road..but usually i use my hilux for hauling nasa 300-700kls kina karga ko okay ba parin si bilstein sa kargahan? even mas malambot siya sa OME and ironman?..

Lift springs naman magdadala ng load not the shocks. Yung rebound ang sa shocks...your planned upgrade should be fine.

rebuilt shocks don't last long. As for new shocks, Most Australian aftermarket suspension set are tuned as a set and perform best when used as a set. meaning you have to get the whole system (lift springs - coil or leaf, shocks, PU bushings, torsion bars, etc). Its just a matter of preference on how you will use your rig or what ride quality you prefer like comfort, constant load, etc. Putting an aftermarket shock (Australian or US-brand) to your stock suspension will not do much unless paired with its tuned set...

Bottomline, however, is ride quality is very subjective and preference differs from each person
