72Tkms and the OEM front rotors on my Navara are shot. Minimum thickness is at 26mm, and they are at around 25mm. The center part is also thicker, which makes me think it might already be cementite. Must be all the loaded trips in stop and go traffic.

Called up local Brembo distributor and they have nothing for the D40 so I'm choosing between these two DBA rotors. Street series T2 slotted and street series blanks. I know Aussie made DBA are great but I'm told these series are now made in China. Cost is close to OEM. Anyone with experience running the same series rotors?

I would assume the China made DBAs should still be good so long as they follow the same standards. How long is the warranty?

Try checking Runstop also (Thailand made). I'm considering these for my Hilux (might go with Brembo pads when they have already). On FB you can check Adacon marketing.

    Vinj,
Inspired by bro Sarsi's cellphone stinginess I'll probably buy online and have them shipped here so no warranty. They should be at least as good as OEM though, right?

A friend had Runstops installed before but they warped earlier than his OEMs. Not sure where he got them from, maybe he got fakes but to be sure I don't want to risk it. Re: pads I still have a couple of EBC (Greenstuff & Yellowstuff) so I think I'll be ok for a while. How are the Brembo pads in terms of dust and noise?

I do hope they are at least as good as OEM. Heck for some Toyota models, the cheap replacements i bought in Banawe were even better than OEM in terms of warp-resistance (I've had early warping OEM rotors on the Gen 9 Altis, Innova and Hiace).

no experience with the Brembos yet. Good to see feedback on runstops so i have to research more as well. I have a feeling my Hilux stock rotors are going to warp early too.

Yes that brand. Where do you get your EBC? Thinking of getting 1 for my Jimny.

Wow. Even Toyota OEMs get warped? I guess everyone is cost cutting nowadays. At least now I know it isn't because of my "driving style".

Hmmm. Icerbrakes doesn't seem to have any feedback from any forums. Only Brembo and DBA are discussed more frequently. The EBC pads were bought online, I just forgot the site. Sorry, I'd retrieve the source but I was locked out of my old email account.

^CB, that is possible (yung mga trip na magpausok ng rotors ); in my case i always cool em down or avoid hitting the rims or rotors if i hose down the car after driving in the rain.

It's really more of the quality i'd surmise. My Gen 10 Altis didn't have the problem (my driving habits and conditions are consistent).

Yung mga mahilig magcarwash after using the car, prone to warping of the disc brakes din diba?

UK forums madalas ko makita EBC nga. But was thinking baka mahal shipping charges

If I recall correctly I bought the pads from DCPerformance along with my Koni shocks. Shipping was relatively cheap as I used a balikbayan box consolidator.

I just hope DBA doesn't just rebadge Chinese blanks for their entry level offerings.

The reason why I got the Konis was the adjustable rebound damping. Adjustment is cumbersome but aside from that I can't complain. Ride is great when paired with medium duty OME springs. Well worth the money IMO👍

May Brake Drag Reduction Clip/Spring ba yan?

Make sure na may Torque Wrench, Dial Indicator at Micrometer yung mag-iinstall para masiguradong within specs yung mga parts before nila install.

Last time nabaklas ito pinareface lang yung rotor. Will check that spring kung meron. Hub bearings ito, di pa nagpapalit since new. Baka nga palitin na din. Thanks for the tip!
