Anyone know where I can get Monroe shocks from a trustworthy shop?

Does anyone have any experience with this brand?

    Is it better than KYB?

I still prefer KYB (ingat na lang sa fake) over Monroe. Pero that is for Pajero applications only. Ewan ko for other cars.

boss otep, does that mean you've tried both monroe and kyb? ano yung difference sa feel.

Based sa description kasi on both websites (kyb and monroe) parang mas maganda ang technology ng monroe.

Hindi ako ang nag-try. Yung mga nag-ooffroad ng Montero sa U.S. Mahirap daw sirain yung KYB compared sa Monroe. This is in real world, extreme conditions and no in a laboratory. Your results may vary. Pero general concession was KYB is better.

Yung Monroe nasubukan namin pero in a different vehicle. Ok din naman.

KYB is an OEM supplier to most Japanese manufacturers. They make the adjustable suspensions on Land Cruisers and Pajeros.

Antayin mo na lang siguro. At leas may gas-a-just for your application. Sa Pajero, for the front lang meron. Sa likod yung ordinary nitrogen shock ng KYB lang ang meron. Premium Series ata yun.

i have monroe on a car i'm using and i'm not too happy. parang all of the KYB equipped cars i've driven feel more solid and ride better. this is purely subjective tho and no matter which of the 2 brands you pick, i'm sure you'll be happy since they are both of good quality.

pre, sira na agad shocks mo? ang bilis naman. bago lang oto mo ah.

based din sa observation ko, KYB is a little bit better than monroe. aside from the fact that as posted here, KYBs are more designed for Japanese cars as compared to Monroes, i think it will fit your car just fine.

nung nagpalit ako ng shocks dun sa dating singkit ko (na nabili ni Joey liit), KYB yung nilagay ko, so far no problem. used that car for two years pa before finally releasing it.

Di pa naman sira pero pakiramdam ko, nakasakay ako sa barko whenever I drive around.

Antayin ko na nga lang sigurong magkaron ng gas-a-just para sa sentra.

di pa siguro yan pare. have you tried the "bounce test", baka dahil sa kalsada na dinadaanan mo yan.

yung northbound kasi ng slex pati northbound ng skyway, talagang matalbog eh.
