    if you can afford oem, go for it. if not, then kyb's a good replacement. that's if your oem's are not kyb.

    OT but related, i guess: guys i need your help/opinion/suggestions. i wanna lower my civic to a 1.5" drop. do i need to change shocks?where can i purchase the lowering springs, how much budget do i need? thanks in advance.

    conzky, springs are in the 10-12k range. no need to upgrade to gas shocks unless the stock ones now are busted na.
