Every year....every two years ba....? I just want to compare because my FX's tires need replacement after 18 months of use (as in everyday, average of 60km, city driving).

ako averaging two years and a half eh. normal driving conditions, about 60 kms din a day. madaming humps, matataas pa. semi-annual balancing and rotation, occassional camber alignment. i just don't know how BF Goodrich works.

Delta, if your tires wear out sa inner side, malamang camber correction ang kailangan mo... although pinapacheck mo yung alignment sa computer at tama ang labas, madami kang ibang factors din like ilan ba usually nakasakay sa oto mo, kung mabigat lagi, the camber will be affected drastically.
Also, are your other suspension parts up to spec?
Since di ka pa nagpapapalit ng tires, experimenting the camber alignment sounds like a good move... pero make sure na you're within the "safe" range pa...
18 months is about right nadin... tire longevity is also dictated by vehicle weight, driving condition/duration, distance, etc... malaking factor ang heat buildup ng tires mo din... constant braking (especially sudden stops) will wear tires fast...

I think you should take into account the different models available in a particular brand... I'm sure that any one brand has different models that sound, perform and last differently...

January 9th, 2003 04:48 PM #10bale ako a good 3 years din pero yung isa pinalitan ko 2 years pa lang
Choice I would have made as well.
