August 29th, 2009 01:16 PM #1I heard some fortuner owners reduce the rear ride height of their fortuners to make"pantay" the front and rear ride height and achieve a balanced suspension and better handling and comfort. Anyone done this? If yes, how much of the coil (spring) is cut and deducted? Thanks in advance, great help if I receive some tips!

How's that going to make it more comfortable? You'll still be riding on the same rock-hard rear coil springs... they'll just be shorter and lumpier.
The widely accepted solution to the Fortuner's ride problem is to buy a set of aftermarket performance springs. A lot of shops sell these. They'll give you a better ride, proper stance, and won't destroy your shock absorbers by reducing your suspension travel as much as cutting will.
