"Do aftermarket wheels need aftermarket lugnuts?"

Baka maluwag kaya gumegewang-gewang yung gulong. It happened to a friend of mine.

May 2nd, 2008 04:30 PM #15the shop where you have your tires changed should know if the lugnuts that you have bought is matched to the magwheels. there are basically two types:
one is cone shaped, and the other type is sleeve with flat surface.
If the lugnuts are not properly torqued, and became loose while driving, there will be knocking sounds coming from the wheels, and eventually damages the wheel lugs. you may have difficulty tightening and also loosening the wheel nuts after this.Last edited by tip_tipid; May 2nd, 2008 at 04:31 PM. Kung aftermarket yang gulong, most likely cone-shaped yung lugnut seat. My Rotas have the same shape seats so they require cone-headed lugnuts to mate properly and give a good seal.
Honda's stock lugnuts have ball heads, while Toyota's are "flat-headed"---square-shaped with a washer on them. Not sure what Mitsubishi's stock lugnut heads are.
The point is though, these stock lugnuts are made to work with stock rims. If you used Toyota's flat-face lugnuts on Honda's wheels with ball-shaped lugnut seats, you'd be asking for trouble as they can't mate properly. Conversely, if you used Honda's stock ball-headed lugnuts with Rota's cone-shaped lugnut seats, the pressure is spread over a smaller area than ideal because they can't mate properly either.
The moral of the story is, aftermarket wheels will usually need aftermarket lugnuts. Match the nuts with the seats on the wheel. HTHs

After nun ok na ulit after nun nawala na ung wiggle

Anyway mabuti naayos sya. Cheers.

sir, makisawsaw nga... hehehehe..
sir tinanggal nyo ho ba yung screw sa me drum brakes nyo? to what i know is locks po yun duon.. ewan ko lang ha but better check it out correctly.

Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
